Die 43. Ausgabe unserer Podcastreihe kommt heute aus Köln. David Hasert ist einer der wohl gefragtesten DJs aus der Domstadt und das hat gleich mehrere gute Gründe. Der sympathische Künstler schafft es regelmäßig, mit einem unglaublichen Gespür für die richtige Trackauswahl eine unverwechselbare Stimmung in seinen Sets zu erzeugen. Es war daher wirklich nur eine Frage der Zeit, bis Veranstalter auch außerhalb des Rheinlandes auf ihn aufmerksam wurden. Neben zahlreichen Gigs in Deutschland und vielen weiteren europäischen Ländern, spielte David Hasert 2015 bereits zwei Touren in den USA, inclusive einem Auftritt auf dem Burning Man.

Der Erfolg ist für den Kreativgeist allerdings noch lange kein Grund sich darauf auszuruhen - ganz im Gegenteil. Ständig versucht er sich und seinen Sound weiterzuentwickeln. Dabei helfen ihm vor allem seine musikalischen Nebentätigkeiten als Labelchef von LIKE und natürlich als Produzent. Aktuell arbeitet er beispielsweise mit seinem Freund und Kollegen Miyagi aus Hamburg an einem gemeinsamen Release, der im Sommer erscheinen wird. 

Und als wäre das alles nicht schon genug, ist David Hasert auch eines der Gesichter vom beliebten Reineke Fuchs Club in Köln, in dem er zwei renommierte Veranstaltungsreihen (NICE, Mukkefuchs) leitet. Wir freuen uns sehr, dass wir mit David Hasert einen so vielseitigen Künstler für unsere Podcastreihe gewinnen konnten und wünschen euch jetzt viel Spaß mit seinem exklusiven Podcast!

The rhythms of hundreds of drums enchant the senses, which do not seem prepared for this enormous flood of impressions. Different scents put the olfactory receptors on alert. They can no longer distinguish between known and unknown and surrender themselves completely to this state of unpredictability. There is so much to discover and learn here. The algorithm behind the hustle and bustle remains an enigma. Everything seems to be subject to its own laws. It cannot be grasped and arranged, it flows into each other and is disturbing, it drives one forward. Overwhelmed by all these impressions, you let your mind loose on an exciting journey.

Ro.Me will accompany you and wants to bring this world closer to you. He conducts in the background and is always present. The selected pieces of music are masterfully coordinated and carve out a path through the supposed confusion. The rhythms and melodies lead you like an invisible thread, leaving room for your own explorations in this soundscape.


Rhythmen von hunderten Trommeln betören die Sinne, welche auf die enorme Flut an Reizen nicht vorbereitet scheinen. Unterschiedlichste Gerüche versetzen die Geruchsrezeptoren in Alarmbereitschaft. Sie können nicht mehr unterscheiden zwischen bekannt und unbekannt und geben sich ganz diesem Zustand der Unvorhersagbarkeit hin. Hier gibt es noch so viel zu entdecken und zu lernen. Der Algorithmus hinter dem bunten Treiben bleibt verborgen. Alles scheint seinen eigenen Gesetzmäßigkeiten zu unterliegen. Es lässt sich nicht fassen und ordnen, es fließt ineinander und ist aufwühlend, es treibt einen voran. Überwältigt von all diesen Eindrücken, lässt man seinen Geist auf eine aufregende Reise gehen. 

Ro.Me begleitet euch dabei und möchte euch diese Welt etwas näher bringen. Er dirigiert im Hintergrund und ist doch immer präsent. Die ausgewählten Musikstücke sind meisterhaft aufeinander abgestimmt und zeichnen einen Weg durch das vermeintliche Durcheinander. Wie ein unsichtbarer roter Faden führen die Rhythmen und Melodien euch und lassen doch Platz für eigene Erkundungen in dieser Soundlandschaft.

Deep Stories is a collective of DJ/producers, writers and photographers with a passion for storytelling in all possible ways. In their universe, sounds, words and images form a complementary unity, so that the audience can absorb all these different sensations at the same time. With this unprecedented vision in mind, DJ’s The Doubljuh and Kork founded the Deep Stories podcast series in 2016, which was enthusiastically received by a rapidly growing community. By amalgamating different lifestyle areas (literature, photography, music) many people quickly became enthused by this innovative project and within a year the Deep stories Soundcloud channel reached the mark of 10K followers before smashing the 20K milestone the following year. Driven by the enormous positive feedback, the team has expanded and founded its own music blog. This allows the audience to stay informed about new releases, events and upcoming gigs, in addition to weekly charts and tips for the weekend planning for electronic music lovers. The latest addition is the new booking feature, by which the artists of the Deep Stories crew can be booked for deep house and techno parties. Thus, the Deep Stories project consists of three components: the podcast series, the music blog and the booking area. Over the years the team has also grown and many partnerships have been sealed. Among other things, there is a close collaboration with other podcast channels, travel blogs and even street artists, fueling yet even more creative minds…
