Optische Täuschungen oder wie es besser heißen würde atypische Sehsituationen haben schon viele in die Irre geführt. Sie entstehen, da unser Gehirn das Gesehene mit gelernten Erfahrungen verbindet. Wer also öfter Donald Duck sieht als Bugs Bunny, ist eine lahme Ente? So einfach ist es leider nicht. Sehforschung ist ein kompliziertes Gebiet und die Erklärungen über die Entstehung bestimmter optischer Täuschungen sind oft schlechter nachzuvollziehen als das deutsche Steuergesetz. 
Illusionen entstehen aber auf keinen Fall, weil unser Auge faul oder tolpatschig ist. Sondern weil unser Kopfinhalt alles besser weiß. Unser Gehirn hat gern das letzte Wort beim Thema Sehen und verdreht daher ab und zu die Tatsachen. Angelehnt an eine alte Bauernweisheit könnte man sagen „Was das Gehirn nicht kennt, sieht es nicht“. In solchen Fällen wird lieber eine Interpretation des Gesehenen, welches sich an bekannten orientiert, übermittelt als das tatsächlich Wahrgenommene. Klingt zu kompliziert? Dann denk mal darüber nach warum du eher zwei Gesichter im Profil oder die junge Dame siehst.
Aber ob nun Vase oder Gesicht wichtig ist das Wesentliche nicht aus den Augen zu verlieren. Nur so ist man in der Lage hinter die Maskerade zu blicken. Wer das falsche Spiel durchschaut hält selber alle Trümpfe in der Hand und kann selbst dem alten Besserwisser im Oberstübchen noch ein Schnippchen schlagen.

Aufgrund seines wachen Verstands und seinen klaren Blicks haben wir Sascha Kloeber auf die Reise in die Welt der Täuschungen und Illusionen geschickt. Mitgebracht hat er uns eine deep story, bei der selbst Ente und Hase Hören und Sehen vergeht ;)

An optical illusion is a truly mystifying phenomenon which leads many people astray every day. That’s because our brain connects the observations of our eyes with something that the brain has already experienced before. So, if you look at a picture of Donald Duck but you’re convinced that you see Bugs Bunny, does this mean that you’re out of your mind? Well, it’s not as simple as that.
The research of the sense of vision is a complex domain of science and the cases are often more complicated to interpret than a tax law. But it’s clear that these bizarre phenomena are no coincidence. The brain thinks it knows everything better when eyesight is concerned and it won’t hesitate to distort the objective observations of the eyes.
There is an old folk wisdom which says ‘what the brain doesn’t know, it’s unable to see’. In such cases the brain prefers to guess what the eyes may have seen and tries to match the observation with something familiar it knows already. Sounds complicated?
Did you ever wonder why some people see faces in profile while others see the young lady, while they are all looking at the same picture? Or why some people see a vase while other see a face while observing the same thing?
The people who can see through this masquerade of their own making have unleashed the power to rise above the limitations of their own brain.

This deep story is a journey through the unsettling world of delusions and illusions. Such a hazardous trip is only recommended under the competent supervision of a guide with a sharp mind and a clear vision. And we found the perfect guide for this delicate mission: Sascha Kloeber.

Mr Lokomot grew up in Zadar, Croatia. He and his father moved to New York when he was eleven years old. In the following years, he immersed himself in the music scene of Brooklyn and got to know the various facets of electronic music. After he spends 14 years of intensive living in New York City, he moved on to the stronghold of technology, San Francisco two years ago. In the future, own releases will follow and also a collective of the Bay Area is planned.

Rich Vom Dorf, a strange foreign artist name, isn’t it? But it´s meaning is easily explained when
you know that the guy behind the project is called Richard and "vom Dorf" means "from the
village" in german language. Born in the eighties on the countryside he discovered electronic music
in the early nineties and what had begun as a passion led into a full time job as dj, promoter,
producer and owner of the label "tächno". The style of his productions and sets varys from indie
dance to deep emotional progressive house or happy techhouse. This maybe is a wide range of
sound but all this music has one thing in common - it´s made to please your heart.
This year has been an amazing one for rich cause two of his tracks reached number one in the
traxsurce progressive house top100 and he had various other chart positions with his music. You
really should keep an eye on this guy.

Deep Stories is a collective of DJ/producers, writers and photographers with a passion for storytelling in all possible ways. In their universe, sounds, words and images form a complementary unity, so that the audience can absorb all these different sensations at the same time. With this unprecedented vision in mind, DJ’s The Doubljuh and Kork founded the Deep Stories podcast series in 2016, which was enthusiastically received by a rapidly growing community. By amalgamating different lifestyle areas (literature, photography, music) many people quickly became enthused by this innovative project and within a year the Deep stories Soundcloud channel reached the mark of 10K followers before smashing the 20K milestone the following year. Driven by the enormous positive feedback, the team has expanded and founded its own music blog. This allows the audience to stay informed about new releases, events and upcoming gigs, in addition to weekly charts and tips for the weekend planning for electronic music lovers. The latest addition is the new booking feature, by which the artists of the Deep Stories crew can be booked for deep house and techno parties. Thus, the Deep Stories project consists of three components: the podcast series, the music blog and the booking area. Over the years the team has also grown and many partnerships have been sealed. Among other things, there is a close collaboration with other podcast channels, travel blogs and even street artists, fueling yet even more creative minds…
