The next release on Déepalma Records comes courtesy of Barcelona based Italian producer Gianmarco Limenta as he makes his solo debut with a three-track EP - Dreams.

Gianmarco Limenta comes highly revered for his elegant mix of Deep & Tech House; a resident of the iconic W Hotel Barcelona, he began his career as a producer in 2017 with ‘Clear my mind’ on Pacha Recordings. Since then, his music has been published on labels such as Glasgow Underground, Hungarian Hot Wax, King Street Sounds, Enormous Tunes and of course Déepalma Records - where he returns for his first solo release now.

Opening his new ep, ‘Dreams’ wastes no time getting down to business. A melodically focused track with jacking grooves, commanding synths and soulful vocal licks. Constantly rising, its energy ebbs and flows seamlessly from end to end. A record with all the makings to be a big room floor filler, effortlessly danceable.

‘Blue Sky’ comes next, kicking the energy up another notch. Upbeat and driving drum work builds a base for more masterful harmonies to shine through. Piercing through the track’s robust bed of drums and percussion, bright keys and a rich electronic bassline glide along whilst occasionally dissected by a luscious combination of arps and strings.

The release closes on ‘No Talk About’, a deeper cut with an unlimited appeal. Reminiscent of 2011-2012 Deep House’s most renowned records, its nostalgic overload of rolling drums and attitude-laden melodic components melt together to carve out an insatiable late-night dancefloor heater.

Next up on Déepalma Records, Australian duo Cup & String make their label debut with a double serving of indulgent Deep House flavours on ‘Come Back / So True’.

Cup & String was an idea between two mates in 2015 who share two decades of friendship. Since then, Ross & Lukasz have released on a wave of respectable imprints and received regular plaudits for their unique blend of House & UKG sounds from some of the biggest names in the industry.

Kicking off the release, ‘Come Back’ jumps straight into a firm body of 4/4 drums and crisp percussion. Very much a club-geared Deep House track, a hotbed of harmonic components rife with emotion collide perfectly with a sultry female vocal lead to create a gripping allure. A record built on rising energy and crowning moments, perfect for warming those winter dancefloors!

The release ends with ‘So True’, another main room primed melodic cut with an overflowing sentiment. Clean cut kicks and sizzling hat sequences pierce through the heart of the record, whilst a concoction of deepened synths and pads pulsate from end to end. Another striking vocal ties everything together, completing an undeniably rich and captivating club track.

Cup & String’s ‘Come Back / So True’ is out on 4th February 2022 on Déepalma Records.

The next release on Déepalma Records comes from the likely pairing of label boss Yves Murasca and imprint favourite Rosario Galati, presenting a smooth and sultry two-track package - Lo Que Siento / Kalura.

A partnership that features prominently throughout the roots of Déepalma’s history, Rosario Galati & Yves Murasca combine once again to bring a silky presentation of their latest work. After a busy stint in the studio working on new projects, the duo return with two new and exclusive cuts - reaching into the deeper side of house music.

First comes ‘Lo Que Siento’, a deep and driving house cut with subtle melodics and a sultry exotic vocal. Watertight drum work and bounding sub-bass provide a sturdy groove, whilst soft synths and organs bring more character. This stripped-back late-night number offers a sensuality like no other, creating a uniquely captivating vibe. 

Next is ‘Kalura’, which offers a grittier and heavier sound than its counterpart. Jacking drums meet a catchy sub-bass groove, with synth riffs and stabs diving in and out of each other - modulating to peaks of intensity before diving deep again. The track’s standout bridge section features a gripping female vocal and rising melodies, adding even more character and tying it all perfectly together.
