Baikal Nomads is a record label focused on organic house with deep atmosphere and melodic grooves. The label's latest release features collaborative original music from Cereus and Revibe along with stunning remixes by Veytik, Alex Doering and Timboletti.

There are two original tracks on this release that include the collaboration, plus a solo production by Cereus. Both of the original artists are from Denver, USA and Revibe is an emerging talent making his debut with this stunning release.

Cereus is making his debut on Baikal Nomads following an exquisite debut on the Suprematic record label where he showcased his downtempo blend of ethereal atmosphere and enchanting melodies.

On remix duty, Veytik is an American artist from New York whose mystical tracks have been released on respected organic house record labels ranging from Harabe to Cafe De Anatolia.

Alex Doering is a Baikal Nomads regular who provides a spine-tingling remix in the style that he has featured on other imprints such as Kosa, The Purr and trndmsk.

The last of the remixes comes from Timboletti, a renowned German artist who has been pioneering organic house since the genre's inception and has an impressive back catalogue including music on Sol Selectas, Kindisch, Do Not Sit, 3000 Grad Records and Stil Vor Talent.

"Kula" is the collaborative original and it opens the release with rattling organic percussion and majestic pads that create an uplifting atmosphere with a soothing vibe.

"Chandra" is the solo original by Cereus and it's a spellbinding track with sweeping synths and pulsating rhythms that are cut by rushes of sparkling melody and it unfolds with building tension.

Veytik's remix of "Kula" drops the tempo and adds vocal chants that give the track an indigenous vibe full of psychedelic and shamanistic vibes.

Timboletti's remix of "Kula" adds trippy synths with techy undertones that lead into the soothing synths of the original as the track moves towards the spiralling textures of the breakdown.
   
Alex Doering's remix of "Chandra" adds hallucinatory vocal textures and stabbing synth chords along with a prominent snare that helps him create a dramatic remix that lifts the energy of the original.

Premiere: Daniel Hokum ‒ Day In Day Out (Yassen Remix) [Literary Music]

Javi Bora and Le Vinyl reignited their winning collaboration with this searing four-tracker on Steve Bug's Audiomatique label. Both hailed from Spain and were heavily influential in the notorious party capital of Ibiza – with Javi Bora as Kehakuma resident DJ at Spaze Ibiza – it was fair to say that both of these guys knew how to lay down tracks that worked crowds to the bone. Luckily, this release did all that and more.

'Momma’s Tale' was a slick, punchy and epic jam that somehow managed to keep its tension throughout the track, building into an unstoppably infectious groove.
Sacha D'Flame added soulful, classic-house-infused vocals to bring the whole thing to a floor-wrecking climax. Also included was a Dub Mix for DJs who preferred the more stripped down approach.

'Heart Roaring' was another main room bomb waiting to go off. Its swirling groove and sharp, funky programming was reminiscent of Detroit house masters such as Rick Wilhite and Norm Talley, and was sure to wreak serious damage when dropped at peak time.

To make the Overkill complete, BOHO collaborated with two new faces for this outstanding release. You might know SlikNik from his live project GRAU or his collaborations with the likes of Crystal Castles or Motoboy. Erotica was created in summer studio session when SlikNik and BOHO officially met for the first time and immediately clicked. Working on this track felt natural to both artists and suddenly, after hours of deep focus and creative exchange the track was born and got already tested on that same night in Berlin's infamous Sisyphos club. And finally, for Nicer Dicer BOHO teamed up with Rachel Raw who not only is BOHO's life companion but also the label head of Jannowitz' sister label JAW Dropping Records. There is something called Asthu. Imagine it like a Casper flying next to you. It's there all around us. It's like the Indian version of guardian Angel. However, the difference is the Asthu is slightly laid back but disciplined. And it doesn't have a judgmental ability of its own. Rather, it respects you so much that it leaves the job to you and doesn't question. It won't choose for you. It won't know whether you mean it or not. Sometimes you say things you don't mean but it will make it come true. E.g. You wonder what if someone steals your footwear from outside temple, Asthu will bring the attention of a thief to your footwear and it will be gone. Sometimes it will miss listening to you. So when you say something followed by tathastu, it means you have thought so much about what you are saying and calling the attention of Asthu to work along with you to make it come true. So, always be mindful of what you think and say. The literal meaning in English is ‘So be it' or 'apadiye aagatum' or 'apadiagapatathu' in Tamil.
