A few words from Leanne on the mix:
I really enjoyed putting this mix together; I’ve been wanting to do something a little deeper, dubbier, darker but still soulful. Looking back at it, I’m struck by the subconscious echo and influence of my roots at Honest Jons. Not only are many of the HJ family repping,  it’s also a reflection of the broad musical spectrum I was exposed to and influenced by there (backed by Alan and Mark’s exquisite taste and integrity) - from jazz and world to techno and reggae. So in a way, it’s a sort of tribute to my time there but also to all my years in London right up to Worldwide FM. I came over in ’91 - caught the end of rave & hardcore culture then moved through garage, house, acid jazz, jungle, UKG, broken beat up to the present day and the new jazz explosion. I often stop and wonder how a small town Ontario girl found her way on to some of the darkest, duttiest dancefloors in London - both in front of and behind the decks. For me, there is no other place in the world where dance music culture joyfully collides with so many other branches of music to continually create and recreate new forms, new sounds, new energies.

Alchemical

An organism glows
in this dark, dark room.
The light finds the cracks
in the walls

and stretches its languid arms
to enclose us, to hold us
against its vital pulse.
Tethered to a vibration

both familiar and unknown,
we are sent towards
a portal before
we are spit back into day—

kept close
until the night is done.
The heartbeat of the creature
then dissipates like cloud,

is alchemically transformed,
shifts shapes
like the shadow of fire
then finds its way

into our chests.
We carry our secrets
within them like lead,
lead that wants to be turned

into gold. It’s only a matter
of time before our chests
are unlocked.
When we open

each other up,
what’s underneath
spills out, and it is then
that we remember the pulse

never left – it only
hid itself beneath
our wrists, our lungs.
By the end we’ve lost the map

and know there’s no way back:
the person we were before
succumbs to the person

Campfire Stories 66 (Alchemical) by Grant Aaron (Mysteries of the Deep)

Hello there. Today, I'm glad to unveil a new stellar journey curated by argentinian's talent Forest On Stasys.

Previously known for his driving techno works under his Mental Resonance alias, this new project is more influenced by tribal and minimalist sounds from the nineties as by the deep and abstract electronic works.
Besides his interest for the dancefloor, he is fascinated by drone and ambient, in order to captivate the listener with melodies that can be marked by a strong melancholy or with notes that give a certain feeling of satisfaction depending on his current mood. 
Since early 2019, he co-founded the Danza Nativa label with @alderaan-music and @kyntral, on which he put out the first release, "A Vision Of Light".

As the title said, this mix was designed as a "mysterious night" under a sky animated by the hypnotic dance of the shooting stars. There is no stars without darkness, and the light can be found even in the deepest obscurity. I'm sure this beautiful selection will carry you into a timeless dimension.
