Through DJ performances, Jin crafts ethereal, meditative soundscapes that transport audiences, viewing CDJs & turntables as instruments for improvisational exploration. Her academic background drives her to delve into sonic art, crafting instruments and DIY microphones to push the boundaries of sound and deliver innovative, immersive musical experiences. Behind Linus Schrab we find musical outlets as part of the duo Thet Liturgiske Owäsendet
(Lobster, for/wind, Shimmering Moods, Low Point et al) and his solo project V I C I M (ACR,
Shimmering Moods and Lamour). Alongside producing music he operates a home grown
label together with his wife Linn Schrab. Purlieu Recordings was born in 2016 and is now
home to tapes by artists such as Carlo Giustini, Knivtid and Tutti Harp.
