"This is a meditative journey.
Sit or lay comfortable, close your eyes and stop thinking. Let the music guide you through the infinite landscapes of your soul."

Born and raised between the fantastic mountain valleys of the Italian Dolomites and the industrial city of Ludwigshafen in Germany.
Spent most of his childhood playing in the woods. This past still connects him inseparably from nature and its forms of life.
He tries to convey this feeling of the infinite timelessness of the soul of nature with music in an understandable language.
Words can only approximate this.

His DJ sets are always driving, ritualistic.
Natural sounds and hypnotic melodies allow the listener to reach another state of consciousness.

This is how he describes his vision:
 “when time and space lose their meaning, when everyone is connected in unison to the music, united in one energy bubble, 
then the perfect state is reached. 
No thought separates us from the great unit. Only knowledge and joy move us to the beat“.

His productions are experimental, unorthodox. Since he is not a musician, he uses this "ignorance" and the freedom that results from it. 
Hypnotic rhythms and driving beats characterize his tracks, always filled with natural sounds.
The listener is transported in a space that seems to exist between the stars. Deep in his heart he believes in infinity and that time and space are only imaginations.
His goal is to express these inner feelings with music, so in 2021 he set out to develop his musical language.


“This journey will be endless, full of universes yet to be explored and they are all within us“.

La Route des Alpes takes us on a journey through the Alps of 1921—an emotion-filled trip between ambient, electronica, and IDM, guided by the music of DNGLS (Maxime Dangles mist side), who first caught attention in 2016 with his album Lukarne and a memorable cine-concert for A Beautiful Planet at the legendary venue La Géode, followed by shows at La Cigale, Rex Club, Astropolis, and a stunning France TV recording in immersive binaural sound.

After a long silence, DNGLS—always lurking in the shadows or in the mist that defines his music, deeply influenced by artists such as Burial—returns with this album, originally commissioned by the Scène Nationale du Lux in Valence for a cine-concert on André Bayard’s silent film.
It is an exploration of a world and a mountain that no longer exist—through Évian, the Col du Galibier, Mont Blanc… Epic flights echoing the grandeur of the landscapes, a deep sense of nostalgia, darker tracks shaped by the harshness of the elements, later contrasted by the lightness of clearings traced by his synthesizers—a fragile, skin-deep composition elevated by immersive and masterful sound design.

La route des Alpes is a sensory journey, a meditation on time and memory, where escape becomes a refuge.

Christian Samsara is a Danish-born DJ and record collector.
His journey into electronic music began back in his early teenagehood and after a few years, he discovered the electronic ambient genre which grew into his big passion and later on, lead him behind the decks.
Since the beginning of his DJ carreer, he performed at a great number of festivals and events accross the world and of course in his homeland, Denmark.
Inspired by the nature and isolated places, his mixes are often a selection of ambient / downtempo / IDM music with deep cinematic soundscapes and layers of organic textures.
He joins Ultimae Records in 2015 and is currently selecting works for an upcoming compilation release.
