With great pleasure we would like to introduce you to our next podcast episode, recorded by Lauren Mia, a pianist, composer, music producer and DJ from Los Angeles.

In our Interview we asked Lauren Mia if there's anything she misses from her childhood? She told us something very important about perspective on life as a child.
"Something I deeply miss from my childhood is my perspective on life. My perspective on life was so pure, unharmed by the dangers and negativity energy that does naturally inhibit our world. In our world and our reality, there is the need for balance. The ying and the yang. There is no light without darkness. However, as a child, I was emotionally protected from he darkness of the world. My parents did an incredible job providing a very beautiful, worry-less life surrounded by love, laughter, art, and friends. I felt very protected as a child. Now we are all, instinctually, need to protect ourselves and also help protect others, whether it is the basic human rights of others, or protection of animals, or even the protection of environment and planet. That is our duty but also a great responsibility that does take a toll on all of us emotionally. I am grateful for this responsibility, although I do miss what it was like to just be free, and not worry. To have the belief that we lived in a perfect world filled with toys, love, laughter and art."

The next question was about the best birthday gift she ever received. For sure it was the piano that influenced her whole life.
"The best birthday gift I ever received was my piano. My parents gifted me a piano at the age of 4 and allowed me to start studying with my instructor Stella throughout the course of child hood and teenage years. I am so deeply grateful and humbled for that, as it help me get in touch with my true passion and love for music and sound at a very young age."

Michael Dietze (Traumamt) aka Ditte - DJ since 1991 // Musik mit ♥
Eastside Leipzig (Zweinaundorfer Straße, Gerichtsweg) 1993 – 2000 
Protex Zero (Spinnereistraße Leipzig) 2000 – 2003 
Club Molen Dyk, Leipzig (2003-2006)

Nach 6 Jahren Pause ist Michael Dietze 2016 wieder an die Decks gestiegen. Während er in den 90ern und der ersten Hälfte der 2000er allen als „Ditte“ bekannt war, der mit Minimal / Techno Sets nicht nur in Deutschland von sich reden machte, eignete er sich im creweigenen Club Molen Dyk (2003 – 2006) weitere Styles an. So schaffte er es mit Afrohouse, Deephouse bis hin zu Melodic Deep Tech, die Leute zu begeistern. Er beherrscht es wie kaum ein Zweiter immer das gewisse Etwas in seine Sets einzubauen. Am brillanten Mixing und der Track-Auswahl erkennt man, dass da fast 30 Jahre Erfahrung hinter den Decks stehen.
