Mumbai/Berlin based selector, producer and Regenerate crew member Troja goes deep for mix #098.

Trideep Roy is the latest beat maker to contribute to our expanding list of mixes here at Wild City. The Mumbai based producer and DJ has been spinning tunes across the country and established crews like Bhavishyavani future Soundz, Dusdozen and KRUNK in the past.

Troja believes his music is a product of his travels in Europe, where’s he spent a large chunk of his life. Despite having started his journey in Scotland, it’s obvious in his mix that Berlin – Germany in general – has played a major role in shaping his musical sensibilities. Troja went back to the city this summer to take up residency at Suicide Circus and play for crowds in the region. The musician is also one half of a collaborative project called Botief.

His hour long, exclusive mix for Wild City explores a range of deep house perfect to match the energy of a post party. It begins with Florian Rietze who eases things in with the pulsating ‘Treibholz’ and continues to cover a number of (largely German) gems including BLANCAh, Stephan Bodzin, Spanish producer Upercent and more.

Burkina Faso is a Country in West Africa, where we discovered "sandia"- a traditional rythem for djembe&dundun.
inspired by sandia, we started to develop the combination between the dunduns patterns and the electronic keyboards.
This Piece is journey through time - "ancient and modern times" and also the 24 hours circle, from sunrise, to sunrise.

Press Info: "The label's latest offering is from Mexico based Metrika who is best known to many for his residency at the Day Zero festival organized by Damian Lazarus. He has also released tracks on labels including Crosstown Rebels, Akbal Music, and Hot Waves.

Metrika previously featured on Sol Selectas in 2017 when he reworked a track from Sabo’s album as part of the remix pack, but this time he is back as a fully-fledged member of the label's family with an EP of his own original music.

Along with the three originals, there is also a remix from Matanza who are a three-piece band respected for their downtempo Balearic jazz, which they perform at festivals and other events all over the world. Some might also recognize their organic tracks reworked into electronic versions by people such as Acid Pauli."
