In classic Lusine fashion, there's no hard anchor to any rhythm, mode, or motif; weaving seamlessly through both broken and steady beat tracks, there's a clear upward slope to the gradual change in energy and pace. Starting from the ground floor, choice downtempo and trip-hop oriented offerings slowly ebb into faster, sleeker rhythms, dipping back and forth between organic and synthetic timbres. A core memory was playing secret garden in the grove this year.
This was so special and not just because it’s Shambhala, but because I felt so connected to myself and everyone around me in that moment in time.
The improvised nature of this set added to the beauty of it all. I just knew the feeling I wanted to invoke and left it open for exploration. 

3-430am…and it’s as if you can hear the morning light creeping in, exploring many style of music I love within. 
We just vibed out, gettin lost in the music together 🌀🩵 

Curating a space and playing the right music at the right time has always been so important to me and something I really cherish so thank you for feeling me, showing up and bringing the vibes 🫶.

i was asked to play a chill opening set and this is what i came thru with. listening back to this mix actually brings me back a bit to the beginnings of how & why i got into djing in the first place. it feels like a more classic style where you can really hear the layering and what's going on. a bit more straight up and simple.
