Mark McDonald is not your average lead guitarist - influenced by Jeff Beck, Robben Ford, Frank Zappa, Richie Kotzen, Joe Satriani, there is a wealth of flavour to be found in Mark's playing.

Some of Mark's band influences include Rush, The Who, The Doors, Thin Lizzy, Chili Peppers.

I've been writing my own material for a long time,as soon as started playing guitar i started to write songs. I've never stopped working on original music,i constantly keep trying to develop & progress,as best i can. I taught music for 12 years in a college & met lots of really creative characters along the way! I write however i feel,based on what's going on at that moment in time & where my musical vibe takes me. I really dig dudes like Jeff Beck,Robben Ford,Joe Satriani,Billy Gibbons,Jimmy Page,Stevie Ray Vaughan & Frank Zappa-there are so many people i could mention,but i'd literally be here all day ye'all! I really dig the concept of this soundcloud community & i hope that many of us find ourselves able to engage in creative ventures,that are enabled by this fab'n'groovy soundcloud community! To all of ye'all who listened to my songs,posted comments & sent messages-many thanks & mucho appreciation! I hope ye'all have a cosmical musical adventure that cleanses your soul & frees your mind!
