His studio talents are incontestable, but he is perhaps best known as a master behind the decks; an up-lifter, an inspirational educator and a creative visionary when it comes to DJing. He was selected as one of Montreal’s Top Beat Masters in the “Hour Magazine” and won a JPF Award in 1999 for the best song on a mixed compilation. But these marks of recognition are pale compared to the actual experience of being on one of his dancefloors. His current residencies include B018 Beirut, Circus Montreal, Cubes Abu Dhabi and previously 5 years at Stereo, Montreal. He hosts the global editions of the Ready Mix Sessions events (Beirut, Miami, Montreal, Abu Dhabi) along with the internationally broadcasted radio shows and podcasts. He has played all over the world from L.A. to London, New York to Ibiza, Dubai to Miami, Beirut to Toronto and around. His vibe is diffused universally across barriers of language and cultures. His most recent appearances include the Renaissance Event in Beirut with Satoshi Tomiie, The Creamfields Festival in Abu Dhabi with Sasha, Sebastien Leger, Marco Carola, Erick Morillo, Deadmau5, Underworld, Laid Back Luke and Calvin Harris, the Circus Event in Beirut with Steve Lawler and The Gatecrasher event in Beirut along with Anthony Papa.

مرغ آتش خوار

در دل مرداب میرقصید.

روزگاری بود، روزی بود

دختران کولیِ سرمسست
قلبها پر شور
در نگاه سبزشان امواج بیتاب رهایی
                                  نور افشان بود
آرزوهایشان کنار دست
در کپر هاشان کمی مانده به آبادی
یا کنار چادری آن سوی نخلستان،
                سرود مهر، میخواندند.

پیرهاشان- (مرد یا زن)
                          خود تفاوت چیست؟
زندگی را در میان دستهای پینه بسته ناز میکردند
سینه ها، بی کینه،

ناگهان در کودکی، طفل بهاران مرد
اوج رویش در نگاه خشک باران مرد
بلبل از نامهربانی چمن افسرد
گل ز داغ او به باغ زندگی پژمرد
ماهِ افسونگر – چراغ آسمان- خاموش
اهرمن با اورمزد اینک شده در جوش
شب، به ولگردی رها در کوچه های شهر
                             کوچه ها اما اسیر شب
                             جاده ها باریک
                             قاصدک، دلتنگ
«بوعطا» سر داده بر جای«چکاوک»
                                «غوک»
شب، کنار جاده، وامانده
بذر امواج سیاه از دامن چیندار
                            افشانده
بر سر هر روزن و هر بام
خوابگاه ایمن تردید گسترده
لایه لایه، بر هوا، دریا، زمین،
                         بر کوه،
 سفر ه های پر ز هیچ از هیچ گسترده
تا چه روید از نهال این شبِ تردید ناک مست!

Marió Domján, aka Collective Machine, is the artist behind Stereo’s latest release: Kickwave. The single starts with a remix by Chus & Ceballos, the label’s owners who are remixing almost every release as part of their 20th-anniversary celebrations. This time the duo delivers an intense remix throughout the whole track, strong in-out waves of energy followed by a sharp break. Infectious rhythm and some hypnotic vocals contribute mainly to this sequence of dynamic ups and downs. In the Original Mix, the Hungarian artist uses several overlapped layers of elements but using a deeper tone in which the vocals take a parallel way. No doubt about the release potential on the dance-floor!.
