Kiki grew up in Berlin but got stuck in Kassel 10 years ago when she found herself a castle to live in: a place shared with lovely people and even hosts a small private club. By organizing many parties and festivals she grew organically from ‘always being the one controlling the playlists’ into becoming a professional DJ 6 years ago.

Being a DJ brought Kiki a lot of self-confidence and she found something that gives her a great balance in life next to her other job. Music is everything to her and when she heard that ‘Mbuki Mvuki’ means that you hear such good music you just want to rip off your clothes so you can dance around freely she immediately connected with this feeling. She loves to dance and lose herself in music - it’s like meditation: you can switch off your brain and be in a totally different world.

So for this mix she set her Mbuki Mvuki intention. And Kiki has the beautiful tradition to meet up with a dear music loving friend when she’s up for creating a podcast. It gets her in the right nice vibe to sit together for ages listening and talking about tracks before recording a mix (gin tonic included). Then she presses RECORD and this groovy deep podcast is the result of that super harmonious night. It's an honor to be able to enjoy this almost 2 hour long impression of Kiki’s Mbuki Mvuki mood!

Frequenzmagie

Stell dir vor, alles was du um dich herum siehst, hörst, riechst, schmeckst, und fühlst besteht aus Wellen. Manche von ihnen sind eher kürzer und andere länger. Einige sind verhältnismässig gestaucht und andere wiederumm gestreckt. 
In diesem Gedankenexperiment hat alles, aber auch wirklich alles und jeder seine ganz individuelle Wellen-Beschaffenhaft. Diese befinden sich im permanenter Bewegung, schwingen vor und wieder zurück. 
Treffen zwei unterschiedlich schwingende Wellenformationen aufeinander, so entsteht zwischen beiden Subjekten eine einzigartige Synergie, ob bewusst oder unbewusst. Es kann vorkommen, dass die Felder sich anziehen und harmonisch aufeinander reagieren. Andererseits ist auch eine Inkompatibilität möglich und die beiden Sender, die zugleich auch Empfänger sind, verspüren ein  schwer zuordenbares Unwohlsein.
Ob angenehm oder tendenziell unbehaglich, ein Teil der Wellenform des anderen überträgt sich auf das Gegenüber. Die Strukturen beeinflussen sich gegenseitig und induzieren eine Neuformierung. Bei Objekten geht dies ebenfalls von statten, wenn auch in der Regel in einem kleineren Maßstab. 
Das Wissen über die Beschaffenheit der Umwelt verändert alles. Wenn du dir deiner schwingungshaften Natur bewusst bist, gehst bzw. schwingst du ganz anders durchs Leben. Feste Körper und Objekte sind mehr oder minder eine Illusion. Flüssig, fest und gasförmig sind dementsprechend auch nur eine potentielle Eigenschaft der Welle. 
Wenn alles und jeder eine Schwingung ist, sind wir dann im Ursprung gleich?

Dieser Podcast entspringt dem Geist und der Fingerfertigkeit von Jannes Preuß. Es hört sich so rund und wohlig wie ein Erkältungsbad im Winter. Das Herz geht auf und der Kopf wird frei. Dieses Mal bekommt ihr wieder eine durch und durch stimmige, spürbar durchdachte und liebevoll zusammengesetzte Mixtur, aus komplementären Musikstücken zu hören.
