The release marks a clear step forward for the French producer, whose foundation in classical piano and years of focused studio work have shaped a sound that’s melodic, measured, and highly intentional.

To support the release, Herreman has put together an exclusive DJ mix made entirely of his own productions. It’s a rare look into the world he’s been quietly building. While many artists use mixes to showcase range or pull club-friendly tracks into a set, this one feels more personal. Every selection is his, and nearly all of it is unreleased. You can hear the throughline across the set—evolving melodic structures, restrained tension, and carefully spaced arrangement decisions that never crowd the moment.

"Trapped" opens with heavy EBM percussion and a buzzkill bassline, setting a tense, mechanical tone. "Further Spiralling Down" sinks deeper into darkness with a grinding low end, tight drums, and electro-tinged claps, forming the side’s relentless highlight. "Apathy Through Shock" closes with pounding, catatonic rhythms and a mournful, otherworldly melody, pushing the listener into disorienting depths.
