Frezel shows us in his remix how high lovely melodies can work together harmoniously with dark filthy basslines. A hopping beat determines the rhythm of this track and subtitle melodies are exchanged with shrill blowing brasses.  The break starts with a solo synth and softly the arpeggios blend in and out, building up to a silence. Then a very dark, rough brass takes over the total spectrum of the track, giving it a total new chapter. This track is a weapon for every DJ to wake up their crowd!

Over the years, Berlin has been cited as Oliver Koletzki’s main point of reference and, more importantly, his endless source of inspiration. His albums Großstadtmärchen and Großstadtmärchen 2 are wholehearted tributes of the German capital, as its importance is continuously hinted and charted.  Friedrichshain, one of Berlin’s vibrant districts, has always held a special place in Oliver’s heart. This is where he started out when he first moved to the city, and this is where he lives now. Kreuzberg’s wall paintings adorn Stil Vor Talent ’s cover sleeves and host their headquarters. There are little to no corners in the city that haven’t brought a spark of inspiration into the mix. Madloch's Sound Avenue imprint continues its 2018 journey by welcoming George X to the label for his debut single. The Greek artist has a meticulous discography highlighted by appearances on Dream Culture, Get Weird and Magician On Duty where his unique take on deep house has found favor with John Digweed, Hernan Cattaneo, and Nick Warren. Now stepping up for his first appearance on Sound Avenue George presents his latest single 'Nahuati' alongside remixes from Cosmic Cowboys and PHCK.

The release concludes with PHCK. Founded by Paul Hoffer and Chris Kusterer, PHCK operated as a duo until 2017 before eventually adding the musical talents of Stefan Kling into the group. Releases on All Day I Dream and Connaisseur highlights the trio's discography and with an ever-growing synergy, PHCK now returns on Sound Avenue.

Osiris begins in a majestic way with a great synthesizer giving entrance to the kick drum with a great blow, a hypnotic arpeggio in the background and percussions are including to the theme without forgetting the main lead that enhances its authority in the break turning to a mysterious and energetic track.

Depth of Field, is a quieter theme but with the same intensity, where the melodies of the background are more pure and melancholy, small riffs are incorporated creating a sublime sound set transmitting the perspective of the void and the absoluteness at the same time, simply music with soul.

Dyspo, is the last track but the most explosive, the arpeggio sequence arises from the beginning and with the percussive elements conceive a hypnotic and contagious groove, then a small riff that emerges from the darkness become essential at every step of the theme and in conjunction with the powerful bassline give a sense that all sounds create a monster that is destroying the universe with each hit of the drum, a track that will be equally essential and dispensable to destroy the dance floor.

Frezel - Get Serious (Ariose Remix) 
Ariose is a Scottish duo that is working hard to breach the scene wide open with their unique sound. It is deep but danceable, and that is exactly what they made of Get Serious. In the introduction, they left the melody of Frezel quite intact. 
But then, after a break with an uplifting bassline, they come loose. The groove is on and they only bring you further into the track with smartly placed special effects and sweet and breathtaking synths. A brilliant remix!

The latest release from Tash’s Movement Recordings welcomes Joan Retamero to the label for his debut EP. 
Hailing from Rosario, Argentina, Joan made his production debut in November of 2013 with a contribution to Hernan Cattaneo’s Sudbeats 3 compilation. 
A string of successful releases on Clubsonica Records and Soundteller soon followed, putting Joan at the centre of all things groovy and progressive. 
Now making his Movement Recordings debut, Joan presents his latest EP entitled ‘Magnus’ alongside remixes from Magdalena and Solemn Eye.

Beginning with the title track ‘Magnus’, it’s evident Joan’s contemporary progressive style has reached a new level. A grinding underbelly provides waves of energy while clustered claps and fresh electronics adorn the framework. 
A tasteful vocal narrative elevates the mood once more as the track melts down into a cavernous break. Dramatic yet poignant it’s an esoteric shift in mood, perfectly setting up a classy drop. 
The companion piece ‘Between Two Souls’ strips the proceedings down a touch for a more techno inspired sensibility. Electric designs and shifty tones make for a moody journey before a twisted breakups tension for a rousing finale.

The lone interpretation of ‘Magnus’ is provided by Magdalena who is making her Movement Recordings debut. Well known for being part of the Diynamic family for years, the German artist made her long-awaited production debut in style, contributing ‘Should I Stay’ to the ‘10 Years Diynamic’ collection which was released in September of 2016. 
She has since gone on to remix Moby and appear on Mobilee and Stil Vor Talent. 
Now making her much-anticipated Movement Recordings debut Magdalena takes ‘Magnus’ into deeper and equally exciting territory. 
On a backbone of warm beats and evolving tones comes a beautifully reprocessed rendition of the vocal. Sparse yet emotive, it’s mysterious nature leads to a dramatic break, gently teasing the senses before a creeping wall of white noise ignites the groove for a magic dance floor moment.

The lone interpretation of ‘Between Two Souls’ is provided by Solemn Eye who is also making his label debut. 
The Belgian artist is best known for his releases on ‘Ethereal Techno’ label Steyoyoke and Pole Folder’s Reworck imprint. 
His Movement debut does not disappoint as he puts a softer yet equally powerful touch on ‘Between Two Souls’. It’s driving rhythmic core quickly becomes infectious as icy pads and astral designs fill in the percussive gaps. 
Concise and perfectly timed, the main break drifts further into a cosmic territory, meditative at moments, before a smooth energy bridge transitions the piece into a spaced out finale. 
A lovely remix from Solemn Eye, rounding out what is a great Movement Recordings debut for all three artists on the release.

Jan Heilbrunner returns to the label with these three bangers in form of a mesmerising EP.
First take is ¨LAST EXIT¨, a sublime hypnotic techno dancefloor killer. 
Next is ¨THE OTHER SIDE¨, the track which also titles the EP, is a motor-city style number, driving drums along with euphoric melodies and uprising pads make this a true winner.
And last but not least we got ¨VICIOUS¨, a deeper Detroit styled number with rich arpeggios and futuristic synth sounds all along this gem.

Jan is acting as DJ since 1990. He had performances with all the great names within the Techno Scene over past years. He played mostly in Germany, France and Switzerland. Jan's plays a mixture of Detroit, Techno, House and Drum and Bass. His sets are always different due to his flavour of many music styles. Jan also acted as a producer with Plastic Park, since then he had three releases between 1996 and 2001. In 2014 Jan returned to the studios and works currently on his new project.

Tamas Skafar - Cyclone (Koen Schepens Remix) 

Koen Schepens starts out gently with a groove that is clearly being held back and an introduction to the melody that seems to grow with every beat. 
Once the drop is there, goosebumps. 
An insanely powerful shaker is implemented, which works very well with the strong bassline and deep melody. 
Halfway he introduces a synth that blows like a hurricane, like a cyclone through the air! 
Blowing everyone away on the dancefloor, this is one hell of a track!

Release Info: 
Its been more than 2 years since I did an original release on my own label. Its been 9 months since I had an original NOIR release. I wanted some time without releases. Some time to breathe, to think and most importantly time to be creative and to experiment. I have picked 2 productions I felt sounded different to everything else out here.

Eruption was already made in the fall 2017 and I have been road-testing it since ADE17 and changed it quite a lot over the 6 months period from when I thought it was finished to what it actually sounds like now. I wanted the track to be brutal like a volcano erupting but at the same time have beautiful and peaceful elements. Hence the breakdown lava sliding into the middle of the track before it all erupts again. I have spent many hours trying to make it sound raw and unpolished.

Disruption is build around a super simple sequence loop I played by hand while jamming with new pluck sounds. As the sequence got layered and washed in effects it became a quite haunting loop and that led me to add a boys choir to give that feel bigger impact.This track sounds simpler than Eruption but its actually stacked with layers. Disruption is meant to make you close your eyes, follow the rhythm, the simple sequenced loop and get hypnotized.
