Ом (санскр. ॐ) — в индуистской и ведической традиции — сакральный звук, изначальная мантра. Часто интерпретируется как символ божественной троицы Брахмы, Вишну и Шивы, квинтэссенция Слова. В соответствии с ведическим наследием, считается, что звук ом был первым проявлением не явленного ещё Брахмана, давшим начало воспринимаемой Вселенной, произошедшей от вибрации, вызванной этим звуком.
Звук «Ом» является самым священным звуком в индуизме. Помимо олицетворения индуистской божественной троицы, он, сам по себе, является наивысшей мантрой, символизируя собой Брахман (высшую реальность) и Вселенную как таковую. Три его составляющих (А, У, М) традиционно символизируют Создание, Поддержание и Разрушение — категории космогонии Вед и индуизма. Считается также, что три звука символизируют три уровня существования — рай (сварга), землю (мартья) и подземное царство (патала). Они также символизируют три состояния сознания — грезу, сон и явь, — три времени суток и три способности человека: желание, знание и действие.
В Ведах звук «Ом» является звуком Солнца и света. Он символизирует собой движение вверх, приближение души к горним сферам.
Священное значение мантры «Ом» в индуизме трудно переоценить. Практически все священные тексты индуистской и ведической традиции начинались и заканчивались этим звуком.
В гаудия-вайшнавизме составляющие звука Ом также указывают: А — на Кришну, У — на Его энергию, М — на все живые существа.

Seven Line Prayer To Guru Rinpoche

This is the long mantra of Chenrezig or Avalokitesvara - the Boddhisatva of Compassion. The short version "Om Mani Peyme Hung" is said to contain all 84,000 teachings of the Buddha in 6 syllables. This recording is an offering of prayer to the people and land of Nepal after a devastating Earthquake caused much damage and many deaths in April 2015. Om Mani Peyme Hung is chanted for many purposes, one is to bless those who pass on to transition from this world into the higher realms. Fue un encuentro internacional en busca de una cultura de paz y respeto a la Madre Tierra que unió mas de 470 personas de 28 países en la Ecoaldea Atlántida en Cajibio, Colombia. 

Infinita gratitud a todos los músicos, cantantes, danzantes y participantes del evento que dieron su sabor a este álbum, y a nuestra planeta... Lo estamos distribuyendo libremente para compartir el amor y poder que manifestó durante este gran encuentro... así que compártanlo!
