Council instruments measured a sudden loss of mass in that area, a decrease equal to the mass of the City. Somehow the City had been spirited away, not destroyed. But I could not convince the other Council Leiters of it. I had to follow you alone." Thacher turned a little, nodding to the men sitting at the bar. The men rose at once, coming toward the table. "A very interesting process you have. Mars will benefit a great deal from it. Perhaps it will even turn the tide in our favor. When we return to Marsport I wish to begin work on it at once. And now, if you will please pass me the briefcase.

It’s been nearly seven years since Nuage’s highly-acclaimed ‘Prints of You’ LP on Translation and he’s back with an extremely personal long-playing release — ‘Double Mind,’ a 63-minute live performance written and perfected during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic. What originally started as a series of sketches from jam sessions, blossomed into an evocative sonic journey of builds, peaks, and valleys that showcase Nuage's depth and maturity as a musician who has been honing his craft for over a decade in a variety of scenes. Unconstrained by genre or tempo, Nuage effortlessly traverses electronica, deep house, breakbeat, and jungle to deliver one of his most ambitious and experimental works to date. 

’Double Mind’ was written specifically with cassette in mind as the ultimate format, so that it could be experienced as a cohesive body of work because the sum is greater than its parts. Inspired by artists like Tycho, Orbital, and The Future Sound of London (FSOL), Nuage creates a warm and nostalgic atmosphere, sampling, re-sampling, and mashing up a variety sound sources in his signature style, including Balkan folks songs and the legendary Soviet-era Polivoks synth. The release also features two special collaborations with Bop (Microfunk Music, Hospital) on the epilogue as the shape of things to come from their new collaboration together as Shirax.

This session, England-based DJ Tankard (IG: instagram.com/finlaytankard, SC: @djtankard) presents a mix full of electro bass beats for dance music freaks.

DJ Tankard is a very new face on the scene, getting started less than 2 years ago. Despite this he’s gotten well involved in his local scene, supporting artists like Mall Grab and Kettama in shows this year, and recording selections for labels and collectives like @bricksweatrecs, @thegoodieroom and @lizardtapes_col . 

In the near future, you can expect to hear OG electro tunes out of Tankard. And of course, he will continue to express his passion for electro and bass genres and push this sound to wider audiences at every chance he can get.

Finna got a Quadraverb to go along with the Midiverb, personally I prefer the Quadra because you can save patches and it has a pingpong delay, I still love the Midiverb.
Took me about a week or two to complete this but it was worth it lmao, was really fun too. I'm happy with how it turned out.
