Konfront.Audio is the DJ & production brothers combo of Twist & Simstah. The brothers started out as DJs in the early 90s with a strong interest in Hip-Hop and Electronic music. As time progressed they established themselves playing at various events in Berne and in all of Switzerland such as Darkside at Dachstock, Mute at Hive or at the Streetparade-Festival name but a few. The brothers also work successfully in the studio and released their music on landmark labels such as Fokuz and Soul Deep.

Ryck is a DJ & producer from Berne who started DJing in 1997 after being bitten by the Drum&Bass bug at the United Tribes Raves. Playing bass & guitar in bands beforehand and continuously working in the studio on different projects he wanted to have a go at the music himself, fascinated by the sounds of Goldie and the Moving Shadow label and rave tapes of A.W.O.L., Telepathy and Helter Skelter.
In the last two decades Ryck regularly played at Swiss D&B events such as Darkside at Dachstock in Berne or Mute at Hive in Zürich. After being in involved in RaBass 95.6, a monthly Drum&Bass only show on Berne alternative radio RaBe, hosted by pionnering local DJ Lockee, he established the regular Bern Bass Podcast series in 2014 together with Konfront.Audio, Markee & Lockee and is co-promoting the Liquid Session event series at Dachstock in Berne. In 2020 he founded the Bandcamp-only Bern Bass Records label to feature Swiss producers exclusively.

For the first session of the year I wanted to stick to more "traditional" liquid sounds for the first hour. Started out on a deep and funky groove and held that until about halfway when I moved into more chunky amen rollers and some jungle. Second hour was minimal bassline rollers into more uplifting and spacy vibe liquid rollers towards the end.
