It’s ADE time ladies and gentleman. Every October the masses descent on Amsterdam for the burgeoning electronic music festival and conference. To mark the occasion, we are very excited to welcome two of techno leading lights in Pig&Dan to pick up the task of rinsing the special edition Amsterdam Dance Event episode in our central mix series, no.88 in our longest running music podcast. The ELEVATE bosses, who many will also know from their releases on the likes of Drumcode, Terminal M and Diynamic, will be throwing down not once but twice this year at ADE joining Adam Beyer’s Drumcode crew at Awakenings (Oct 19) and closing out the marathon with Gem x Loveland and the imperial Mediahaven. To whet the appetite the boys have mix an entrancing sixty minute session. Tune in now!

This is not an official set recording – it's a personal tribute to the iconic sound of Amsterdam Dance Event and the community around it – created for all who loves deep, driving techno just like I do.

The Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE) is one of the most important business conferences for electronic music and the world's biggest indoor club festival. It takes place from 18. Oktober – 22. Oktober with around 2500 artists. The ADE takes place in 140 different locations and beside the nighttime program there is an daytime program with art, talks, workshops, gear demonstrations and performances.

An epic sunrise and then a mesmerizing beautiful morning. No sand storms this time. Absolutely quiet and peaceful Playa. Feelings of of happiness, the fulfillment of the moment, and childish enlightenment were taking us over, and even of something more, something that is hard to describe, because it is rather similar to magic, that is flowing in the air over that giant heart on the top of bus.

We'd like to spread our love and gratefulness to every one who was still with us at midday, while the sun was in its zenith. We literally got burnt under its rays. It must have been the hottest day of that week. But could it stop us? No way. That 3,5 hours were like one moment.

Our congratulations and thanks to the Robot Heart team. You've been producing love for 10 years and granting happiness in Black Rock City. We could feel it from outside, and now we are honored to be part of it. We really appreciate it.

Having grown up in a music oriented culture and family, surrounded by Persian instruments, Pedram found his musical roots in 70's Disco, Jazz, Psychedelia, Progressive and Deep House. As Deeve, he’s into any kind of atmospheric, deep music. His productions, remixes and sets range from Ambient to Downtempo, House, Breaks and groovy shades of Dub Techno. His monthly show ‚Temptations‘ showcases tracks from these various styles, creating journeys to relax, switch off, dance or dream.
