I wrote this in a hostel within about 25 minutes while on a solo Journey in Prague. I played it live before HUVA Netowork a few days later in Rauchenwarth, Austria <3

Lonely in Prague 2010

An annoying , very rude person. Normally tries to act ghetto by typing in words or phrases such as "Af'", "Janky", "Finna" , "Cus" , Etc. In other words a person that is the most non-classy human-being in presence. They usually have the worst grammar problems and they always try to pick fights with everybody.

Initial signs and symptoms often include fever, muscle pain, headache, poor appetite, and feeling generally unwell. This is then usually followed by painful swelling of one or both parotid salivary glands. Symptoms typically occur 16 to 18 days after exposure and resolve after 7 to 10 days. Symptoms are often more severe in adults than in children. About a third of people have mild or no symptoms. Complications may include meningitis (15%), pancreatitis (4%), inflammation of the heart, permanent deafness, and testicular inflammation, which uncommonly results in infertility. Women may develop ovarian swelling, but this does not increase the risk of infertility.

Takuroku has been supporting new work by artists made during lock-down, but now and again we’ll be releasing lost archival gems that we feel need to be heard. This is one of the latter: A fiery session between two key players in OTO’s international community, featuring Denmark’s Julie Kjaer (saxophone) and Thurston Moore (guitar), recorded at neighbouring experimental music hub The Hundred Years Gallery.

Fans of Rudolph Grey/Arthur Doyle and Kaoru Abe/Masayuki Takayanagi explosive symbiosis will relish here in Julie & Thurstons’ bellied roars, tonal dips and dives and thick sheets of sound. Ecstatic spiritual crescendos emerge and collapse, but during which never lose their sense of focus and imaginative interplay. Here’s hoping this duo can play again once things are back to normal (whenever that maybe be).

50% of OTO’s share of the proceeds of this release will be passed to Hundred Years Gallery. Please support their great work in the experimental music community.

The single it's just the seed of #artpostcard2020 (made for Instagram): a collaborative project where different artists create content around the single, as a way of creating human connections in an increasingly individualistic world from which art is not spared.
Still Nobody Nowhere it’s a small reflection on the project and the motivation that has made me carry it out which has resulted in so much change and internal evolution in these last few months.
Still Nobody Nowhere is a declaration of intent to myself. It is a turning point, a break from my old beliefs and prejudices. Still Nobody Nowhere is to go back to look ahead. Listen more to that shy child so that he can yell at once. A place to be cool, speak slowly, or simply stare into space. Share ideas, connect and dig deep.
