This May will see Kerri Chandler’s MadTech records offer up the ‘MadTech 02 - Ibiza’ compilation, comprising twenty-six tracks from some of the most hotly tipped acts in contemporary electronic music.

The MadTech imprint has been running since 2012 and can boast material from the likes of Citizen, South London Ordnance, Applebottom and Josh Butler across its catalogue, here its A&R prowess is once again on radiant display as the label continues it’s compilation series following the success of MadTech 01. This time round the imprint delivers a weighty collection of hard-hitting house cuts with ‘MadTech 02 - Ibiza’ ahead of the impending Ibiza season.

The compilation welcomes some driving forces in house music at present with the likes of Josh Butler, Alexis Raphael, Leftwing & Kody, Cera Alba, Max Chapman, Celsius and Jonny Cade delivering exclusive content. In typical MadTech fashion the label has caught onto some promising up and comers early to boot, namely Black Girl/White Girl, Howson’s Groove, Simba and Cristoph.

This compilation also allows MadTech to shed light on some additional rising talents outside of its core release schedule with further offerings coming from Human Life, Bontan, Luvstuff, Third Son, Ten Story, Rich Wakley and many more.

Ahead of his hotly anticipated In The House compilation, Franky delivers this sampler featuring two brand new productions and a remix, giving a sneak peek into what he’s been working on for the album. After his first single from the album, ‘Same Man’, reached #1 in the Beatport Tech House chart, it was clear that Franky’s productions are reaching the next level and these three tracks are further proof.

First off, ‘Work It To The Bone’ gives hints of New York garage with a contemporary edge, the strutting drum breakdown and vocal sample giving way to a surging, bumping bassline. Continuing with the bumping basslines, the next track is Franky’s own version of the killer track ‘Lights Down’ from The New Sins, a track released on Defected in 2015 and given new life in this slick remix. Finally it’s ‘Crazy Day’, an irresistibly pacey house record, peppered with surprising grooves, featuring the gorgeous RnB-style vocals of Mike City.

Darius Syrossian's MOXY MUZIK builds on its early head of steam with another high quality release that proves peak time club music can have a real sense of soul. It comes from the boss himself with remixes from Tommy Vicari Jnr and Christian Burkhardt. This innovative new label launched to a great reception with the first EP from Darius Syrossian getting support by the likes of Laurent Garnier & many more djs including Derrick May on his recent Boiler room. The remixes from the likes of Man Power and East End Dubs were also well received. The label has also started a series of all night long tour nights around the UK and Europe, with the first three shows in London, Manchester & Leeds all being sold out shows.

For the labels 2nd release, Darius delivers yet another Dancefloor destroyer with lots of soul, this time with a Disco flavoured cut, the track 'Unnamed 3' was only five hours old when Eats Everything played it on his BBC Radio 1 Show. It was so fresh out the studio that it didn't even have a name and that is how it became to be called 'Unnamed 3' 

A deep sub bass & driving kicks power the track forward and crisp disco stabs littering the track in all the right places. Tommy Vicari Jnr is next to remix and is an artist with more than 15 years of experience of releasing on the best labels of the day to draw on. His timeless style reworks the track into a lush deep house affair with layered pads and hypnotic chords which give the track a dreamy feel. As such this is one of those trademark Tommy Vicari Jnr productions that oozes class, and it's one for those that like real house music. 

Next to remix is Christian Burkhardt, a long time tech tastemaker who has produced for labels such as Cocoon / Cuttin Headz / & many more quality underground labels including his own Christian Burkhardt Sessions. The obsessive producer shows his meticulous craft with a version that is on a more minimal vibe with slick drums and pounding kick drums that give a peak time set feel, but that retains the disco flavours enough to add some spice. This is another unique release from MOXY MUZIK that brings plenty of fresh ideas and lasting emotions to the dance floor.

Next up this winter on Nic Fanciulli's Saved Records imprint is UK DJ & producer, Ki Creighton, with his debut 'Inhale' EP. Ki is no stranger to the House circuit, on the scene since 1991 and now majorly influencing matters both north and south of the border. With releases on respected labels including Elrow, Snatch, Circus, 8bit, Toolroom Trax and of course his own label, Under No Illusion, this talented DJ / producer is showing no signs of slowing down. The 'Inhale' EP showcases Ki's signature sound; percolating rhythms, crisp and energetic percussion, playful rise and fall basslines, hip swinging claps and vocal chants that ebb and flow throughout the compositions.
