Enlisting the help of some of modern electronic music’s hottest names, Skepta & Jammer deliver their tech-house leaning Más Tiempo remix, salute demonstrates the joyous, high energy and emotive style of club track they’ve become known and loved for on his version, up-and-coming talent Lucas Alexander leans into the classic UKG elements of the original, and finally brand new name Reiss Ruben delivers a transformative remix with his progressive tip.

Defected is proud to revisit the legendary Todd Edwards catalogue on the third instalment of House Masters Remixes with a remix from Grammy-nominated producer and DJ, A-Trak. Released in 2021, Todd’s original compilation demonstrated his approach to experimentation in its full glory; his entirely new sound, born from chopped up samples and vocal clips, birthed the UK Garage genre while giving the American-born producer major underground credibility. Ever since those pioneering releases in the 90s, Todd has continued to inspire artists around the world, artists like A-Trak, whose eclectic productions and work as one half of Duck Sauce have helped to establish him as a bona fide Canadian electronic icon. Now taking Todd’s spiritual classic ‘When Your Alone’, A-Trak gives the record a frenetic twist as we have come to expect from the eccentric talent.

Being born in 1995 and having grown in a musical atmosphere thanks to his father, Alec Carlsson's love of music started when he was nine years old. He first learnt to mix, mainly techno and tech-house tracks influenced by Carl Cox' style, and graduated to producing.Then, he has been refining his technique for about five years, exploring many kinds of music and grooves.
In 2009, he signed his first ep on a UK based label and since, he keeps producing musics and remixes for the likes of Dust Traxx Records (Chicago), roXour (Patrick Alavi's label), Nocturnal Recordings, and a few other labels. His music has been widely supported, played, or mentionned by the likes of Axwell, Roger Sanchez, Louis La Roche, The Phantom's Revenge, Ridney, Jaymo, Hatiras, DJ DLG, TEPR, Justin Faust, Bit Funk, or Ghosts of Venice to name a few.
