His style and his DJ sets are influenced by the club culture there and outline a wide spectrum from ambient, house to deep techno. NESS (The Gods Planet - IT)

Ness is a dj and producer born and raised in Sardinia, acknowledged for his style over a decade of music with a background in sound engineering and many years of research and fine-tuning. He gradually developed a distinct technique with a strong focus on atmosphere combined with hypnotic rhythms. Having performed in some of the most relevant clubs and festivals around the globe, he steadily releases music and collaborates with several renowned techno labels within the scene. With experience as label manager through the years with partnership on Mono Records and The Gods Planet, he later established his spin off project label Ness Reworks in 2018. Ness music and dj set are well accepted and defined as an exploration of wide range of deep hypnotic techno and ambient soundscapes.

Twin System present “Victim Of The System”, a 28-track compilation with all profits donated to Brixton Soup Kitchen. Functional heaters alongside malfunctioning oddities for a good cause.

Brixton Soup Kitchen offers support to the homeless and in need and relies heavily on donations to sustain their work. They provide invaluable relief to a community hugely impacted by the virus, as well as a homeless population forced back onto the streets since the temporary housing provided came to an end. 

As normality resumes, the chance of another wave of cases and another inadequate response from our government grows. This along with the huge number of people already suffering from the economic impact of the virus means organisations like B.S.K. are now more important than ever.

Massive thank you to all the artists who generously contributed tracks and big ups to Junior for helping bring it together.

PREMIERE: Al Wootton - Raval [Twin System]

English artist @syzuk is back on Pressure Dome @pressuredome with his new track "Lung Drums" as part of their new compilation, a ten-track collection of "emotionally depth-charged explorations of movement and mode". 

Dubbed-out atmospherics, futuristic UK Techno, IDM tinged jungle and 2-step rhythms take us through a world of playful hybridity and fluid frequencies. 

All proceeds from PDCOMP002 will be split between Black Minds Matter UK, The Stephen Lawrence Charitable Trust and Caring in Bristol.

The Ross From Friends live trio member’s rework is part of ‘Your Love Is Lifting Me Reimagined’, which sees Athlete Whippet give a diverse selection of new wave talent (incl. Aleksandir and Edmondson) free reign on their recent EP.

Marking his debut release on Dissident Sound, Zero Day Attack offers a unique perspective into Pro.tone’s style as a producer, showcasing a warped take on UK influences and delivering a fascinating display of rolling grooves and unconventional sounds. 

Pro.tone’s use of vocal samples further adds to the curious nature of the music, shrouded in ambiguity and processed in a way that accelerates the transgression into an eccentric rabbit-hole-esque journey. 

Difficult to place in terms of genre, Zero Day Attack firmly cements Pro.tone’s individuality in an ever-changing realm of bass music in the 130bpm region. Indicative of how style transcends tempo, only one track – Mechanisms sits at 130bpm, highlighting consistent innovation in a scene which whilst based in the UK, stretches far and wide globally.

As Another Entity opens up with menacing intent and slamming drums beckoning the end of rave as we know it, before A2 sends us falling down Futility Flight’s ‘Fuck Th’ twisted wormhole.
On the flip we have Mania, a break infused high tension builder, giving way to an all-consuming bassline and closing things off with Faulty, a sub bass lead heady groove that’s threatening to implode.
