A core part of the Control Freak Recordings family, London based artist Keplrr has built a reputation as a deft & talented producer with unparalleled attention to detail. In the wake of the widespread support for his 2020 EP ‘Reconstructed Club’, we asked four producers we have long-admired to flip a track from the original release. The result is ‘Club Reconstructed’ - a collection of remixes which distill the spirit of Keplrr’s original record into new forms.

Syz makes his return to the label after 2019’s highly acclaimed Bunzunkunzun EP, applying his organic touch to Esoteric Functions with a ‘refunction’, which blurs the line between techno and 140 - packing some serious low-end and a cheeky mid-way switch-up to send the dance wild.

Faster & Faster Remixes takes listeners on an eclectic journey through five distinct reinterpretations of Swooh's ghettotech original. Reflecting Bad Tips' ethos of embracing diversity and breaking genre boundaries, each remix brings a unique atmosphere, pushing the EP into uncharted sonic territories.

Elpac’s downtempo, mutant dancehall remix creates a smooth, vibey entry point, while Laze shifts gears with a track that moves from ethereal drum & bass into deep, driving techno. Less-O introduces a darker, martial bass-heavy rework, delivering a powerful rhythmic tool for intense moments. Normal Nada The Krakmaxter delivers an eccentric, Lisbon underground-inspired take, drawing from a meta-kuduro multiverse with tribal elements. Finally, Orchid wraps up the EP with a mental techno remix, launching the listener into an out-of-space experience.

Drawing inspiration from UK, Lisbon, and Australian scenes, Faster & Faster Remixes offers a rich panorama of electronic music. Bad Tips continues to defy genre conventions, inviting listeners to immerse themselves in a bold, genre-blurring sonic landscape.

Label co-founder Tal Fineman launches new alias @faulteruk with Obstinacy, a 4-track EP that showcases the cutting edge of contemporary club sounds.

Spanning a broad spectrum of energy, Obstinacy balances heads-down groove with a meticulous, measured approach to songwriting.

A record of two halves, the EP opens with two peak-time bombs designed to ignite warehouse dancefloors worldwide. First up is the unrelenting techno weapon ‘Perspectives’ (file in your wormhole playlist) followed by a slamming, in-your-face electro wobbler, ‘Data Spike’.

The ‘B-side’ shifts towards deeper shades and organic textures, with the dub techno & minimal-leaning title track ‘Obstinacy’ - an ideal layering tool for like-minded DJs. Finally, the EP closes with ‘Zaf (Dub Mix)’, a brooding, delay-laced gem that rounds out the release on a moody note, hinting at much more to come.

● We welcome Arina Krondeva to Delusional today with her lively EP Scattered. Influenced by her current Florida home, Arina straddles the long stamped history of Florida breaks and modern day experimental club music. With this body of work, Arina carves her own path of zany eccentricities, emotive solitude & club kinship, while paying homage to the influential club scene that shaped the breakbeats we know today. Sonically, Arina brings a level of assertiveness to her soundesign, unifying these 4 tracks with layers of steely textures, gritty vocal chops & quintessential electro synth lines. It is to no surprise that Arina gravitates towards percussive heavy club production: her background in drumming is obvious throughout Scattered. She continuously showcases her percussion fortitude and rhythmic depth, front and center throughout the release.

We met Leese at Listen Festival in Brussels. We were already playing her tunes on YUKU for some time, but it was her Live show that really throw us off our seats. We went to giver props after the show and our vibes just clicked. “—Hey, we saw your gig, and it was amazing! We danced our legs of!”, we said. “—Yeah! I saw you!”, she said with a smile. That’s all it takes.

Leese is a Brussels-based producer and DJ who’s been getting buzz for her sound - rooted in Bass Music and pulling percussive influences from breakbeat and tribal.
