Nice & Deadly are very excited to announce that their 10th release is signed by Philo. Directly from Cologne, she proves you don't need decades of experience to understand and push boundaries of a genre. With national and international recognition, her originally vinyl-exclusive selection has evolved over time into a digital hybrid in the pursuit of the best possible sound. Characteristics of her selection involve rough UK bass, which is somewhere between breakbeat, deep amen atmospheric drum & bass, halftime dubby bassbin jungle and footwork with a splash of classic 90s, as well as house influences according to the maxim "keep moving forward"!

Not long ago she started producing and released her first tune "Zooma Patrol" in cooperation with Moogie Fox on the Berlin label Headlight Records. Since 2020, she's part of Deegree Recordings. And in 2021, together with Marie Montexier and Aino DJ, she founded the event series Précey, which focuses on female and non-binary artists to push the scene in Cologne. She also hosts her radio show on jungletrain.net.

And now, she joins the Nice & Deadly Brazilian family with an incredible EP, including a collab with Moogie Fox and an exciting remix from Static Structures.

"Moogie Fox is a quite active producer that has released since 2021 on labels such as Nice & Deadly, Native Boundaries, Program and Control, Exposure Therapy, Headlight Recordings and Division Virtuel. The fact that his tracks are played by artists like Amadeezy, Salome and Stingray shows that he is well known in the progressive and cross-genre electro underground.

After his first EP “Phased Body” on Nice and Deadly, Moogie Fox returns now with an album of seven tracks, including a featuring with Philo. Compared with his other EPs, the dark and cold side of his sound dominates on this work and you can clearly hear the ebm and dirty industrial techno influences as well as a nihilistic scifi vibe. The track titles denote the inherent machinic charateristics of the tracks and at the same time point to a biological, emotional and libidinal facet of the music. Aggressive basslines meet driving drums and hectic synthesizer sequences, interrupted only in a few places by melancholic pads. Thus, the album can also be understood as an expression of an excessive demand to come to terms with the complex conditions of the present and celebrate an escapism to cold robotic scifi atmospheres somewhere in the dark of the universe.

LUCAS KID - Born in Maringá and residing in São Paulo, producer LUCAS KID has a long journey of events and collaborations with various collectives, artists, bands and MC's from the Brazilian scene for almost 10 years. He recently participated in the compilation "Bomba Patch Vol. 1" released by Nice & Deadly in partnership with DSRPTV, and is now on his way to releasing his biggest solo work. On August 2nd 2024 the album “ROMPENDO EM FÉ” arrives on all major purchase and streaming platforms with 10 new tracks.


The name comes from the artist's religious background and has the Brazilian syncretism as a starting point for unbelieving mixtures of funk, electro, techno, drill and other styles of global electronic music. Conceptually, KID addresses the contrasts between the divine and the profane in the Brazilian urban context through aggressive, serious, calculatedly mixed and distorted rhythms. A sonority that not only meets the energy of Brazilian bailes but also seeks place in a more attentive listening to the arrangements and details.

It has been almost two years since Strictly Deep DNB released it's last various artists EP called 'Reflection' and since then has released a slew of tracks. While reflecting upon these past years, we felt that it was time for another go and are releasing the result of that today in the form of our second various artists EP called 'Perspective'! We are very happy to bring you this varied selection of tracks ranging from the melodic deep end of liquid to the realms of techy shoe throwers. We are very proud of this and hope you enjoy it as much as us!
