Skatebård (aka Bård Aasen Lødemel) is warmly welcomed back to the Bordello, and LYO too as we had a nice mix from him few weeks ago ! Following 2013´s Love in the Night comes a 12” of quite a different hue. Colour Negatives collects three brand new tracks from the Digitalo founder. The late night rave funk session of “Fujicolor Pro 400H” spikes and spins on beams of concentrated energy. Those same infectious hooks dawn into the flip. “Agfachrome RSX II” premiered here, is bright, clean and joy filled ; Skatebård delivering pure goodness to nurture any bodies beginning to flag. Paranoia and the break of day enters with “Kodak Portra 800”, a minimal two stepping demon that cuts like vinegar. Shape shifting synthesizer sounds from an artist who simply ignores genres.

Limonata returns with "Siren", an atmospheric, crisp track, reminiscent of days spent sun-drenched on dancefloors. Roy Blues makes his debut on HIM with "Pyramid" premiered here, a euphoric slow burner . On the flip, daddy boy Oliver Francis takes the limelight with "How High", a funky, crunchy beast that will take you for a ride through space and time. The inappropriately named closer "Setting Pace", another by Oliver, rounds out the record; a bright yet melancholy disco track featuring reverbial guitars of the mysterious Deep Zoo.

Gapside, a collective originated out of Brooklyn NY, debut their sound on Sida A, with a 15 minute collage of jazz samples, a whopping contrabass, modular rhythms and a tale about Jazz, Adam and Eve.

What lurks in their imagination, they snatch with no hesitation. A location with no nation, only wibration. In a place where the basslines walk down the boulevard freely and the parks full of mighty swings, 3 kids from the Gapside of town, young kings without crowns, presenting the introduction with this session, to turn the frowns upside down.

First up they made the oceans, and then the trees and the birds and the bees. So sit back, listen, and say “AHA!” The outlaws are out of hiding...

Local Fuzz is the debut LP from Gene On Earth, his fourth release on his own Limousine Dream label.

Just a few months since arriving to town and Gene has already found himself way in over his head. Several fortnights wiled away in the Rebound Lounge weren’t going to make a man’s life better - that’s as sure as sunrise. 

Just as sure was that the Discount Boys weren’t going to let him skip town without paying his due. Only from the prudent counsel of the canine oracle down in Chinatown does he manage to pull his head out of the sand and see the light. 

A swift flight out the gates and across the neon dunes to the East provides a brief respite - ‘brief’ being the operative word. The Discount Boys were one thing to contend with, but the Local Fuzz are another ballgame.

Gene On Earth - Turbo Island

Selvamancer proudly presents its first release by Finnish producer Boneless One. The Barcelona-based label with Dutch rave roots is aiming to release pounding dancefloor mantras. Selvamancer is heavily influenced by mysticism as well as futurism, trying desperately to maintain its balance on a psychedelic tightrope throughout the multiverse. Its first release results in an exciting melting pot of vintage synthesizer jams and modern acid bleeps, the perfect playground of Helsinki based Boneless One. After releasing on Snuff Trax and Tabernacle Records sublabel Ride The Gyroscope he joins the Selvamancer family and cooks up four tracks of acid, rave, distorted techno and industrial-tinged dancefloor burners on his Woofers EP.
