Club Glow continues to exist as one of the most exciting labels in the underground dance landscape. The imprint releasing nostalgic rave goodness is run by Denham Audio, LMajor, Mani Festo and Borai, and the latter is now making his debut on the label with ‘Need U‘. Responsible alongside Denham Audio for the absolute heater that is ‘Make Me’, Bristol-based Borai teamed up with the trio again for another dancefloor-charged release, ‘Clouds Across The Stars‘. A four-tracker volleying between breakbeat, jungle and 140, ‘Need U’ has been a fixture on the label’s Club Glow Radio show for some time now. The EP is the second in Club Glow’s vinyl series, following Mani Festo’s heatedly-received ‘All Night‘, and is strictly limited to 300 copies. ‘Step Off’, which we’re premiering below, drives things forward with a killer vocal sample, swinging hi hats and some breaky goodness.

OS Premiere: Kilig - Clocking In [Shall Not Fade]

Over the past couple years, Native Boundaries has established itself as a respected curator of parties that push the boundaries of music and fun In the Los Angeles underground. For our first EP, we a honored to be working with a mix of local LA up and coming talent with some internationally respect artists as well. This release embodies the spirit of breaks pushing the limits of the genre with two originals from Etari diving into an elusive, yet methodical territory with beautifully processed vocal samples and tribal influences. Other LA local, User Delusion has created a more aggressive yet beautiful, edit to “With You” accompanied with a soulful R&B vocal. Stones Tarot has also remixed “With You” with his signature breaky garage sound as his own rendition also including a more agro bass-line and yet soothing vibe. Finally Berlin Legend Iron Curtis has remixed “Midnight Mood” with a very emotionally moving melodic feeling along with an acidic texture and minimal beat.

More Cowbell established themselves in summer of 2019, rising through the scene as a Facebook community, pushing all things percussive and bass driven within the UK techno realm. With support from Keysound Recordings, Rinse FM and Keep Hush, the collective has made its mark as the catalyst for reigniting a fractured scene. With this success under their belt, 2020 see’s the launch of their label. The first instalment of their release roster reflects the label’s heavy influence from early 2000’s 2step, as well as the post-dubstep era that merged the sounds of dubstep and techno.

Manchester based producer, Monir, has delivered a three track EP which explores the realms of 130BPM, taking influence from the raw, UK sounds of early Wen and Pinch, whilst incorporating the shuffle of 2-Step drums respective of El-B and Ghost Recordings. The first track, entitled ‘Collusion’, sets the EP’s tone with low-swung bass pressure and layered subs. Whilst the second track, Overpass, pays homage to the early FWD>>> sound with heavy, bouncing 808’s built for the system. The EP finishes off with a track entitled ‘The Instinct’, connecting 2-step inspired drums to aggressive vocal chops that encapsulate UK sound system culture.

Twin System present “Victim Of The System”, a 28-track compilation with all profits donated to Brixton Soup Kitchen. Functional heaters alongside malfunctioning oddities for a good cause.

Brixton Soup Kitchen offers support to the homeless and in need and relies heavily on donations to sustain their work. They provide invaluable relief to a community hugely impacted by the virus, as well as a homeless population forced back onto the streets since the temporary housing provided came to an end. 

As normality resumes, the chance of another wave of cases and another inadequate response from our government grows. This along with the huge number of people already suffering from the economic impact of the virus means organisations like B.S.K. are now more important than ever.

Massive thank you to all the artists who generously contributed tracks and big ups to Junior for helping bring it together.

REMINISCENCE EP is their first full 12". A five tracker, with sides split between original Heritage tracks and debut solo material.

'The Cascade' is a debut track from Tribalist. The London half of the two showcasies his solo potential with an electro, breaks, 4/4 hybrid. The opening 2/3's build up in classic breaks fashion before an all out 4:4 tear up. Another one right at home +10% bpm.

As Another Entity opens up with menacing intent and slamming drums beckoning the end of rave as we know it, before A2 sends us falling down Futility Flight’s ‘Fuck Th’ twisted wormhole.
On the flip we have Mania, a break infused high tension builder, giving way to an all-consuming bassline and closing things off with Faulty, a sub bass lead heady groove that’s threatening to implode.
