Cross-institutional DJ based in Moscow

Frankenthaler (aka Kate Novokshonova) is a Moscow-based DJ, producer and curator active since 2017. Her sound fuses dark techno, acid, playful rave grooves, and breaky rhythms.
 
Each mix by Frankenthaler becomes a kind of journey through memories, impressions from meetings with people, since music can convey a range of feelings and impressions inexpressible in words.
 
Defines herself as a cross-institutional DJ, Frankenthaler often craft mixes for exhibitions and art institutions. Working with the conceptual basis of artworks by contemporary artists and exhibition projects, Frankenthaler’s creating a soundscape that complements the experience of viewing.

We are Devotion Sounds, lovers of electronic music.
