Welcome back to another Transmission broadcasting from the HER 他 Transmission Mix Series, our mix series showcasing amazing artists from around the world. For this edition, we bring you a mix from @djeity

Della Orrey (she/they) is a Tiohtià:ke - Mooniyang - Montréal based music composer and sound designer who founded Public Deity Records in 2024 seeking to investigate the post pandemic landscape of the music/recording industry while establishing their emerging artist catalog under the moniker Djeity.

Genre bending and sonic world building with technology is the medium that Djeity utilizes while exploring themes of identity, healing and the modern expanse of blackness.
Djeity's first single "Sibon" was inspired by classical music juxtaposed with the vibrancy of underground club culture.

The project’s second release is a remix of CDMX’s César Ch. and con secuencias “Diatomea Generator” featuring earthquake sound design emerging listeners to dwell on the celebration of overcoming a sense of being buried alive while the music drives forward to a dance floor hypnosis.

2025 is a year of development including live curation, developing an interactive immersive live A/V performance, and inter-disciplinary collaboration with creative entities to produce the ever expanding Djeity universe.
