Aftergore is a series of AUs taking place after Undertale's neutral endings, in which a new human enters in Frisk's wake.
Aftergore I, the Incomplete/Flawed Pacifist ending, details an ending in which everyone (except for Asgore) was spared and befriended. Toriel has taken her ex-husband's place, ruling the Underground with both strictness and kindness. Humans are to be treated not as enemies, but as friends.

Monster Kid takes the role of Papyrus. Now they're a teen, but even with a bit more angst they're still the monster we all know and love. They're just trying their best to fit in among the toughest environment of all...high school. Will they forego their morals to be the very coolest?

Yes, in Aftergore I, the "It's Raining Somewhere Else" scene is for the Papyrus replacement rather than the Sans replacement. Monster Kid has been partnered with Nex for his entire journey, and now as it comes closer and closer to a close, Monster Kid needs to talk to Nex about some important matters. Time to get some heavy stuff off of their armless chest.
