M.I.K.E. Push - Live At A State Of Trance Festival Utrecht [27/02/2016]

Prunk is what you call a busy bee. With a packed agenda, producing music, setting up his label PIV and organizing PIV club nights, you wonder if this guy still has time to sleep.
He is a resident DJ for major Dutch festivals DGTL and Straf_Werk while also being a part of the Deep House Amsterdam crew. His PIV club nights at Chicago Social Club and De Marktkantine are always packed and he also fids time to do one-off PIV nights on Malta too. 
His label PIV records has been up and running since 2015 and has seen a steady flow of releases since. Artists like Roland Nights, Chris Stussy and Yusuke Yamamoto have all released on Prunk’s imprint. And there’s more releases coming up in 2016. 
If this weren’t enough Prunk also released ‘The Machine’, together with Chris Stussy, on New York’s notorious label ‘Nervous Records’, an EP on ‘Moulton’ and an EP on London based ‘Innercity Records’. After hearing Prunk’s tracks, singer Alex Mills (known for the vocals on Miguel Campbell’s ‘Baby I Got It’) contacted him. They are in the studio working on a track as we speak. Recent additions to his discography are: a release on Electronique, City Soul and a remix by ben Pearce on King Street Sounds. 
In the past two years, Prunk has been a firm fixture at all the leading festivals in The Netherlands. While he also enjoyed playing international gigs in Ibiza (Space), New York, Russia, Spain, Brazil, Amman and Belgium.  Make sure to catch Prunk at one of these places.

DepGlobe's 3 Hours Pure Progressive Session With A Techno Finishing Touch May 2016 (NES060)

I'm so excited about this set cause I prepared it during the night from 1 AM till 9 PM, went to sleep, and played it live from 5 PM till 8 PM in the Lounge Garden of the RLGC44 in Amsterdam. When my set was finished the crowd wanted more, so I continued till 8.45 PM, stopped to rush inside the club, and continued with my evening set from 9 PM to 10 PM. Imagine a young DepGlobe, just 8 years old, whose world revolved around the enchanting Dutch radio shows like "The Rock and Roll Method." In the blink of an eye, he became an ardent disciple of musical legends such as Gene Vincent, Elvis, and The Beatles. The year 1981 witnessed his first affair with vinyl ecstasy, a 12" single that none other than New Order's "Everything's Gone Green." But his musical journey was far from ordinary, for luminaries like Patrick Cowley and Giorgio Moroder had already begun weaving their enigmatic influence into his soul during the early '80s.

Fast forward to 1983, when a fire was ignited within DepGlobe, thanks to the trailblazing Ben Liebrand. He embarked on a thrilling odyssey, crafting his own magnetic mixes with a "cut and paste" finesse that ignited high school parties, and soon, the DJ decks at student gatherings. Between 1998 and 2003, he unveiled a symphonic tapestry across three different genres: ClubSession 1-7, GlobalTrance 1-6. But the evolution didn't stop there. Influenced by the likes of John Creamer, Stephane K, Lemon8, and Deep Dish, he birthed his Massive Progressive Series 1-6, generously sharing his sonic creations among his closest friends.

As the years unfurled, DepGlobe's musical persona crystallized into the breathtaking realm of Progressive. Yet, his favorite tracks remain a delightful enigma—progressive techno, pure progressive, techno, tech house, or deep house? Since 2011, DepGlobe's musical magic has graced the digital airwaves of SoundCloud. Following the release of his mesmerizing Lowlands Series, he inaugurated "DepGlobe's NoEgo Sounds" in November 2011. His charismatic presence resonates on the frequencies of United Radio, InsomaniaFM, Frisky Radio, and several other radio shows, not to mention electrifying gigs at pulsating Techno and Deep House soirées.
