BIO:
When DepGlobe was about 8 years old he started listening to Dutch radio shows like “The Rock and Roll Method” and became a fan of Gene Vincent, Elvis and The Beatles. He bought his first 12” single in 1981 and that was New Order’s “Everything’s Gone Green” But it wasn’t New Wave only, men like Patrick Cowley and Giorgio Moroder had their influence on DepGlobe as well in the early 80-ties.

Inspired in 1983 by Ben Liebrand, DepGlobe started making his own mixes. His “cut and paste” mixes were played at high school parties and he started DJ-ing at student parties. From 1998 until 2003 he made several mix CD’s in three different genres: ClubSession 1-7, GlobalTrance 1-6 and influenced by John Creamer, Stephane K, Lemon8 and Deep Dish he started his Massive Progressive Series 1-6 and spread them among friends.

In the years to follow it became more and more clear that DepGlobe’s style is Progressive, although DepGlobe’s favorite tracks are sometimes hard to describe; is it progressive techno, is it just progressive, techno, tech house or deep house? Since 2011 DepGlobe is present on SoundCloud and after publishing his Lowlands Series he started DepGlobe’s NoEgo Sounds in November 2011. Since that time DepGlobe was present on United Radio, InsomaniaFM, Frisky Radio and several other radio shows and doing gigs at Techno and Deep House parties. Next gigs will be at RLGC44 Amsterdam.

Opus Apotheosis August 2021 (NES185)

One of my most popular mixes of all time.  13 tracks from the deep melodic era of progressive house music.  Still my favorite ever sound and style.  Music was truly grand back then.

First and foremost I must say this was by far the most difficult mix I have ever put together. This compilation was six months in the making, each track considered and reconsidered as contributing to the big picture. Lately, when I'm putting together a mix, I often enjoy finding the connections between songs. I prefer not to make mixes on the fly, but rather to listen carefully and consider how the melodies, harmonies, percussion, and overall feel of the tracks fit together into one elaborate jigsaw puzzle, one uniquely beautiful composition.

The music has a spacey, ethereal, almost other-worldy feel to it right from the beginning. Upon completing the mix, I noticed a lot of doubles in the artists and labels used. Those two things combined were my rationale for naming this work Mirror Universe.

Gnadenlos stinkig

Schon seit Tagen harre ich hungrig, durstig und völlig übermüdet in diesem steinernen Verließ aus. Bei jeder Bewegung schneiden mir die Fesseln ins Fleisch und mein Rücken fühlt sich an, als wäre eine Horde Elefanten über ihn gelaufen. Zu allem Überfluss ist mein Bewegungsradius durch die stählernen Ketten stark begrenzt. Ich erreiche gerade so sein kärgliches „Bett“, den Wassereimer und die Vorrichtung zum verrichten meiner Notdurft. Meine aktuellen häuslichen Umstände sind gelinde gesagt beschissen. Doch all diese Unannehmlichkeiten sind nichts im Vergleich zu dem bestialischen, alles überschattenden Gestank. Dieser weht wie ein frisch aufgetragenes Parfüm, unablässig und unverschämt unangenehm, 24/7 durch meine Zelle. Müsste man diese olfaktorische Entgleisung beschreiben, so kämen mir als erstes die Begriffe Verwesung, Fäulnis und ungewaschene Sportsocken in den Sinn. 
Anfangs war der Geruch nur ganz wach wahrnehmbar. Er wurde schleichend intensiver, entwickelte sich über die Stunden & Tage jedoch zu einer regelrechten Verhöhnung des menschlichen Geruchssinns. Ich vermute es ist eine Art Folter. Die Gefangen sollen über ihr sehr empfindliches und einmaliges Organ, die Nase zur Verzweiflung gebracht werden. Ich habe keine Ahnung was hier vor sich geht. Ich weiß nur, ich muss hier raus.

Najesh & Artišoko liefern mit diesem Podcast ein vollumfängliches, akustisches Gesamtbild ab. Der Anfang ist ebenso epochal wie erheiternd. Man kann gar nicht anders, als gespannt und andächtig der Musik zu lauschen und in sich in unbekannte Sphären versetzen zu lassen. Neben Najesh & Artišoko hat auch https://soundcloud.com/subkutan1 ihren Teil zu diesem Set beigetragen. Aus ihrem Mund stammen viele der Vocals, welcher der Gesamtkomposition den letzten Schliff verleihen.

1999 - 2016 ...die Tore sind nach fast 17 Jahren für immer zu. Ein schönes Closing war es... tolle Kollegen haben gespielt und alte Hasen waren anwesend. Zum Schluss sind viele Tränen geflossen. Was bleibt sind tolle und schöne Erinnerungen und ein mal mehr der Beweis, dass nix für die Ewigkeit ist. Danke an alle die zu mein Set da waren und das ich dann noch spontan später das Closing-Closing Set  spielen durfte. Dieses wird allerdings nicht veröffentlicht und bleibt den Gästen die da waren vorbehalten. Ich werde es nie vergessen. Und euch... die vor mir sind, auch nicht. =)

MATTEW JAY BIO:
Born in Conegliano Veneto on 18th June 1986, Matteo Bortoluzzi aka Mattew Jay is an italian Dj and Producer. Since he was very young he was a great lover of the electronic music’s world in all his different stylistic undertones: techno, tech house, deep house. At the age of 15 he started to get closer to the world of the clubs hanging out all the electronic music’s clubs of Veneto, until in 2007 he decided to embark on a career as Dj and producer. Together with his inseparable friend Johnny Kaos, in few years Mattew Jay started to perform in several clubs of Veneto and, meanwhile, started to produce his first tracks. In 2011 Mattew Jay made his debut into Minicoolboyz’ label (Amazing Record), starting point from which he become to be noticed by the most famous Djs from all over the world. Then in 2012 came out in the Luca M’s label (Get Funky Music) arriving finally, in the summer, at the famous Daniel Sanchez’s label Bla Bla Rec with the ep. “The Cayman” and the Dubfire’s Sci Tec one with “Rollies” included in the compilation “ A Transmission”.
In the 2013 we have his first important releases such as for example his debut on MB electronics (Marco Bailey’s label) and on Octopus Records of Sian, the rmx of “Track 5” of Minicoolboyz (on the 1st position of the techno chart of June) and his first Ep on Sci+Tec called “Poisoned Rose” which included the track “Boreal Dust”, in 1st position of the techno chart for 3 weeks. Morover on December 2013 comes out his first artist's album called “Gemini Faces” and the rmx for the techno legend Marco Bailey and the rmx for one of the best artists of techno scenary Sam Paganini. 
In the 2014 he makes his first debut on Intec, the legendary Carl Cox's label!

Blütezeit

Der Himmel strahlt in einem kräftigen blau. Nur hier und da trübt ein leichter, milchig-weißer Schimmer das azurne Firmament. Der goldene Feuerball ist voller Energie. Er zeigt sich in seiner ganzen Pracht. Seine güldenen Strahlen wärmen den Boden, die Luft, die Tiere und die Pflanzen. Die Menschen versetzt er in Heiterkeit. 
Ebenso wie das Konzerte der Vögelchöre. Sie trällern im Kanon ihre Lieder und fliegen unbeschwert umher. Nicht weit entfernt spielen ein paar Kinder. Ihre Rufe und das Gelächter verschmelzen mit dem Singsang, zu einem berieselnden Klangteppich.
Selbstredend genießt die Pflanzenwelt die Blütezeit. Knospen sprießen und Blüten beginnen zu blühen. Muttererde nimmt Energie auf und schenkt sie ihren Kindern. Alle Jahre wieder dürfen wir dieses Wunder des Lebens erleben. Nutzt die Zeit, ob für ein Sonnenbad, einen Spaziergang oder das Gespräch mit den Liebsten. 
Wenn auch vieles ungewiss erscheint, auf die Frühjahrszeit ist Verlass.

Imagine a young DepGlobe, just 8 years old, whose world revolved around the enchanting Dutch radio shows like "The Rock and Roll Method." In the blink of an eye, he became an ardent disciple of musical legends such as Gene Vincent, Elvis, and The Beatles. The year 1981 witnessed his first affair with vinyl ecstasy, a 12" single that none other than New Order's "Everything's Gone Green." But his musical journey was far from ordinary, for luminaries like Patrick Cowley and Giorgio Moroder had already begun weaving their enigmatic influence into his soul during the early '80s.

Fast forward to 1983, when a fire was ignited within DepGlobe, thanks to the trailblazing Ben Liebrand. He embarked on a thrilling odyssey, crafting his own magnetic mixes with a "cut and paste" finesse that ignited high school parties, and soon, the DJ decks at student gatherings. Between 1998 and 2003, he unveiled a symphonic tapestry across three different genres: ClubSession 1-7, GlobalTrance 1-6. But the evolution didn't stop there. Influenced by the likes of John Creamer, Stephane K, Lemon8, and Deep Dish, he birthed his Massive Progressive Series 1-6, generously sharing his sonic creations among his closest friends.

As the years unfurled, DepGlobe's musical persona crystallized into the breathtaking realm of Progressive. Yet, his favorite tracks remain a delightful enigma—progressive techno, pure progressive, techno, tech house, or deep house? Since 2011, DepGlobe's musical magic has graced the digital airwaves of SoundCloud. Following the release of his mesmerizing Lowlands Series, he inaugurated "DepGlobe's NoEgo Sounds" in November 2011. His charismatic presence resonates on the frequencies of United Radio, InsomaniaFM, Frisky Radio, and several other radio shows, not to mention electrifying gigs at pulsating Techno and Deep House soirées.
