Beautifully performed. Emotionally touching. I have always been drawn to the harmonic scales that we hear from composers and within indigenous music throughout Middle Eastern, European Eastern Block, Asian and Russian Cultures. While The piano is limited, traditionally, to half-steps within the harmonic scale (no slight what-so-ever to the beautiful performances of  Paul Gardner, Pianist) - Stringed instruments are more suited for the tighter ¼, & ⅛, step tonalities that create these lovely and exotic qualities. Deryn Cullen, Cellist, masterfully and seamlessly applies these skills as though they were easily achieved - they are not. They are yet another manifestation of her passionate dedication both technically and interpretively and her virtuosity. Brava!
