This time we wanted to stay within the vast limits of a single electronic instrument. All sounds were produced and performed using only the Buchla Music Easel. The perfect synth for this robot innuendo.

This EP is inspired by a remote, partially lost and silent film, "L'uomo meccanico" (Italy, 1921). One of the oldest films about robots.

I've grown up in the 80s and I like the music of that era very much. That's the decade that inspires my instrumental music which, I think, is a bit evocative of that period. I always try to choose, where possible, the sounds and some chord sequences that give the feel of that era.

My music is born from simple tools: free synth and drum machine apps on mobile phones, free or low-cost software on PC. I chose this path to demonstrate that you don't need huge budgets or high-tech studios to create quality sound: all you need is an ear, passion, and a desire to experiment. My quest is to give voice to the imagination with tools accessible to everyone, transforming limitations into possibilities. Because music belongs to those who dare, not those who spend.
