This one is about closing a chapter in life while opening a new one - the imagery that I had was someone boarding the last Greyhound bus out of the city late at night to leave an old life behind and to start over. The long ride is spent with the other passengers, all who have their own stories, hopes, and fears.

I sorta cheated since I stewed on this one for a few days before Jamuary officially started, but it was all in my head so it doesn't count. Played with some chord progression inversion to make it interesting. Vocal line writes itself for the verse.
