this is a cover of @ajitek's amazing song "summer phase change" (links below, hit Show More) which was originally part of Sample Pack Contest XII - this was written as part of a "secret cover ring" in maj7 discord server where we all covered each others' music. i felt very lucky to be assigned an artist i already deeply admire, and knew i wanted to do this track immediately :)

this is an all-EP cover written in just intonation; i stripped the song down to contrast with the incredible sound design of the original tune. written using "Lounge Lizard Session 4" vst

15 doctorn0gloff - Shimmering Shapes

This instrumental cover kind of came out of the blue. I've always loved the version of the song featured in the 1965 film version of "The Sound of Music", sung by Julie Andrews, and used the vibes from my recent FUSION DANCE collab album (with @that-andy-guy ) & Study Buddy album as sonic blueprints for the direction I wanted to take this cover in. I also was heavily influenced by the works of my friend @sylcmyk !

A rambunctious new song and video from Friends Without Faces. Here, our characters meet: sorrel (human, current year, Florida) and Lychee (red panda-stoat, from the future, Neo-Antarctica). Lychee can't beam video back in time, but she is able to send motion-capture through VRchat. "Sunny Side Up" dips between ominous lyrics about feeling hopeless in the current tech-landscape, and positive lyrics about embracing the technology to connect with friends. Backing vocals in certain parts of the song are provided by Diana Starshine ♬
