Following their No.1 hit Tribesmen, which was one of the biggest releases on Hot Creations in 2016, dynamic duo Solardo are back on the label with the mighty Fall Down. Toronto native Carlo Lio and revered DJ and producer MK are also on hand to deliver a solid set of remixes.

Bursting with dancefloor vitality, Fall Down showcases the talented duo at their best, as a pacey ride is enhanced through melodic stabs and tight vocal cuts. Solardo reveal how “things just really flowed and came together for ‘Fall Down’ and we can’t wait to see it finally released.” Following suit, Carlo Lio’s remix is in full throttle with bold builds and trippy FX. On the flip, MK changes gear with a seductive, swinging baseline.

Manchester’s Mark Richards and James Eliot aka Solardo were crowned DJ Mag’s Best Breakthrough Act of 2016, were part of Resident Advisor’s top 100 DJs list and more recently won best breakthrough act in the Ibiza DJ awards. Their critically acclaimed releases can be found on Viva, MTA, Elrow, Hot Creations, Toolroom and Relief Records. They also released the massive On the Corner EP on their own imprint Sola, receiving huge support from the likes of Pete Tong, Danny Howard and Monki, with further Radio 1 support through their recent standout Essential Mix.

Making his first appearance on the label, Carlo Lio is the studio partner of Hot Creations favourite Nathan Barato. Together they created Rawthentic Music, where Carlo has been delivering numerous quality releases. Marc Kinchen aka MK has a discography that spans more than 500 titles over different genres. A chance connection with Jamie Jones and Lee Foss led to his return to dance music. Following the success of his Storm Queen remix, Marc continued with huge tracks like Forward Motion for Hot Natured.

Underground Audio welcome Powda to the label with 'Nineties / Bounce'.

The classic M1-esque organ patch of 'Nineties' opens the release, as reverbed vocal cuts blur into shuffled hats. Vibe Killers then compliment the synthwork of the original with saturated drum sequences seemingly pulled straight from hardware machines. Powda returns to round off the EP, the relentless low end of 'Bounce' cementing Underground Audio as a fitting new home for this standout set of productions

Desolat label boss Loco Dice has been playing unreleased tracks by Italian pair Alex Rubia & Maiki for a while, and now he signs them up for their first full release on the label.
This Milanese duo came together in 2016 and serve up innovative tech house with driving rhythms and smart vocals. They are residents at the Youth party in Milan and have a broad and varied DJ sound that is suitable for any party. This EP is influenced by their knowledge of hip hop and old school sounds, a passion for low frequencies and 909 and 808 drums.
Opener "Push Up" featuring Shawnecy is a robust track with hypnotic pads and a pressing groove that destroys the floor whilst a dark, filtered vocal repeats over and over. An excellent instrumental is also included for more physical moments in the night.
Then comes the brilliantly chunky "Loud!", with a super strong and driving groove. It has fat toms and blasted bass that brings a raw old school vibe. Combined with wild synth lines and sleazy vocals and cow bells, it’s another high impact tune.
Lastly, "My Baby is Back" is based on a voice which the two artists “fell completely in love with during their studio sessions”. The heavyweight tune is built around a powerful bass sound, with ticking percussion and bulky kicks that force you to dance.
This is a high octane EP that is destined to leave a mark on anyone who hears it.

Tube & Berger - Cabala King

Not so long ago two great friends left the country where they lived and moved to Brooklyn, NY. There they re-builded their studio, produced new tracks far away from day-in day-out madness of the life they left behind for a while.
In this creative and intimate isolation the idea of the label came up – just like the next step to be taken in their intense relation. In July 2007 this idea became reality when Desolat was born.

Desolat is now a Düsseldorf-based label founded by Loco Dice and Martin Buttrich. Both Dice and Buttrich had a long-standing artistic career in music before they decided to take a challenge and create a platform to release music they like independently and fast.
