Ibiza based Francisco Allendes makes a welcome return to Desolat for his next release, a fine EP that marks something of a new direction for the man across its four great tracks.
First up, ‘Agility Queen’ is a raw bit of jacking house with clipped vocals offered up by Dance Mania’s DJ DMC, bulky drums and classic cow bell tinkles all making for a sweaty and heavy house kicker . The rapped vocals that come in add plenty of flair to an already firing track. The brilliant ‘Groundhog Day’ is an off kilter, rave influenced tune with wordless voices, militant snare patterns and blasts of frazzled bass frequencies that cannot fail to energise any floor.
On the flip, ‘Flea Allergy’ is another anxious cut of coarse hi hats, robotic and wordless vocals and slamming dreams that works you into a frenzy, then ‘Aroa Leon’ gets even more unhinged, lumpy and ghetto fried with its sleazy drums, jittery perc and kinetic sense of energy.
This lively, arresting new EP is a fine new direction and sound for Francisco Allendes that never stays too far from the chunky style we all love here.

The German newcomer serves up a superb debut three-tracker on Loco Dice’s imprint on 28th February 2025. Since 2007, Desolat has been at the forefront of rhythm-heavy house music, championing fresh talent and top-tier producers alike under Loco Dice’s leadership. Stepping into the fold for his debut, Düsseldorf native Simes follows in
the footsteps of names such as Guti, Yaya, and Francisco Allendes, bringing a three-track offering of quick-fire drum grooves with ‘Bussin’. Already road-tested by Loco Dice around the globe, from Club Space in Miami to ADE, the title track is proving to be an early standout. On the title track ‘Bussin’, Simes locks in a rolling groove, fusing rapid-re beats, sizzling hi-hats, and a driving vocal cut that keeps the energy high. ‘TMF’ follows with deep, swinging grooves, layering a thumping low-end with crisp, filtered samples, before ‘En Chinga’ closes the EP with a chunky bassline, skittering percussion, and a raw,
club-ready sound.

Peruvian producer Sunday Noise is back on Loco Dice’s Desolat, dropping his latest three-track release, ‘Like A Lexus’, on 29 August. Known for his high-energy club records and sharp underground grooves, the Control Music boss continues to carve out his place on the international stage with a release that’s both versatile and powerful.

We’re premiering ‘Preminicious’, his fiery collaboration with Chicago’s Shawn Jackson. Gritty rap vocals ride over a stripped-back groove, with sharp percussion and deep, pulsing basslines driving the track into pure peak-time territory. It’s raw, dark, and built for those moments when the dancefloor is locked in and ready to erupt.

The title track, ‘Like A Lexus’, sees Sunday Noise link with Spain’s Javitoh for a percussive and funk-heavy cut. Its rubbery synths and playful hi-hats deliver a warped energy that feels equally at home in sweaty basements or big-room spaces. Closing the EP, ‘Si Tu Quiere’, made with Venezuelan talent Abuekev, takes a hypnotic turn. Rolling low-end and atmospheric textures build slowly, creating a deep tension that keeps you hooked from start to finish.

Sunday Noise, real name Rodrigo Carranza, has been steadily making his mark far beyond his native Peru. With previous releases on SB Recordings, Elrow, and SOLA, his music blends tech-house swagger with an unmistakable underground edge. Whether he’s supplying high-impact peak-time cuts or moodier after-hours tracks, his productions carry a signature weight that DJs across the globe are taking notice of.

With ‘Like A Lexus’, Sunday Noise continues to push his sound forward. If ‘Preminicious’ is anything to go by, this EP will find its way into countless club sets in the months ahead.

Not so long ago two great friends left the country where they lived and moved to Brooklyn, NY. There they re-builded their studio, produced new tracks far away from day-in day-out madness of the life they left behind for a while.
In this creative and intimate isolation the idea of the label came up – just like the next step to be taken in their intense relation. In July 2007 this idea became reality when Desolat was born.

Desolat is now a Düsseldorf-based label founded by Loco Dice and Martin Buttrich. Both Dice and Buttrich had a long-standing artistic career in music before they decided to take a challenge and create a platform to release music they like independently and fast.
