For Misfit Music's 9th release, we see the label drop into a Housier territory. Proper House sounds play a key part in Misfit Music's club events musical soundscape, so it's important that this sound is represented alongside the Techno releases. A producer who's tracks you are guaranteed to hear most weekends at the club are Jansons.

London based Jansons has become an unstoppable force in the world of House Music. Engineering for some of the biggest names, his skills can be heard clearly across the top record labels in the industry. Over the last year though he has stepped out of the shadows and become one of the key players in his own right. With releases on Knee Deep In Sound, Viva and Richy Ahmed's Fourthirtytwo, he has gained the support of everyone from John Digweed to Jamie Jones.

The Fever EP contains 3 of Jansons finest works to date, Tracks that will undoubtedly see support from the biggest names in the House scene this summer.

On remix duties, we welcome recent Misfit guest and Berlin based Vonda7. With her productions being championed by the likes of Sasha and Dense & Pika, see gives the title track her unique touch, providing us with an excellent alternative take.

Continuing the holiday festivities we have a very special premiere to round off the year. Introducing K & K, these guys have really shaken up the scene this year featuring in heavy rotation sets from artists such as Sonny Fodera, Danny Howard, Sam Divine, and James Hype to name a few. 

Their monthly residency at Habitat has also gone from strength to strength locking in a set at San Francisco's Infusion Lounge for a New Years Eve bonanza! 

In true fashion K & K return to their revival remix duties with a stellar performance of the 90's Trance classic 'Lizard' by Mauro Picotto. There is no other way to throw yourself back in time with a nostalgic remake of a classic, euphoric builds & bass driven grooves!  This remix has been given the official seal of approval by Mauro himself and has been released as an official remix on his label Alchemy Records!!

It's Family (Original Mix)

Not so long ago two great friends left the country where they lived and moved to Brooklyn, NY. There they re-builded their studio, produced new tracks far away from day-in day-out madness of the life they left behind for a while.
In this creative and intimate isolation the idea of the label came up – just like the next step to be taken in their intense relation. In July 2007 this idea became reality when Desolat was born.

Desolat is now a Düsseldorf-based label founded by Loco Dice and Martin Buttrich. Both Dice and Buttrich had a long-standing artistic career in music before they decided to take a challenge and create a platform to release music they like independently and fast.
