Drawing on releases from the last five years, Dessous Recordings gather together a choice selection of Steve Bug's stellar remixes. It's a compilation that showcases an array of glittering talent and provides a snapshot of the maestro's signature sound. As 'The Long Run' - Bug's collaboration with Victor Font - makes clear, this is house music that sees itself as part of a grand tradition, following in the footsteps of US pioneers from both Chicago and NYC. In line with this, a number of bona fide living legends get the Bug treatment, from the hypnotic vibes of Chez Damier's seminal 'CanYou Feel It' to the blue-tinged chords that lift Ron Allen's 'Wordz' to the brittle semiquavers that act as a perfect foil to the soaring vocals on 'Rise' - an undoubted album highlight.

Within the limits of the deep house blueprint, there are surprises at every turn, from the blissful chords of Lovebirds' 'The Rain' to the immersive repetitions of Martin Müller's youAND:THEMACHINES project to the buoyant pulse of Manuel Tur's 'Ara Anam'. For uncompromising lovers of all things deep, there's Simon Baker's 'Grey Area', lifted by dancing cowbells galore, and a hard-hitting version of Ric McClelland's Scope. And for DJs with an eye on the dancefloor there's Bug's rework of 'At Midnight' - his collaboration with Vincenzo from way back in 2000 - an irresistible groove with an incredibly catchy synth riff.

We're also treated to two re-imaginings of contemporary classics. From earlier this year, there's Bug's stripped-back sub bass heavy version of Garnier's 'Whistle for Frankie' while the deeply reflective take on Francis Harris's 'Pensum' provides the perfect comedown to a glorious long night.

A bright and colourful scenery: Shrill blinding sights, piercing foreign sounds, a fusion of disparate scents blended into a cocktail of curiosity. Fleeting attempts embrace a thousand senses in one single second. Bustling around in the shadows of buildings as high as mountains, an almost eerily overwhelming sense of contentment is omnipresent - but something doesn't appear to be right...
Stranded on a lonely island in the midst of a chaotic metropolis, disconnected - a feeling of drowning in an ocean of overstimulus and importunities of disproportionately inflated personalities, without ever even being registered or taken notice of.
What's left is nothing more than the ghost of a young soul, wandering about and curiously studying the surrounding, forever looking for answers that would otherwise seem trivial.

After “Kidsuke” the critically acclaimed collaboration project with Daisuke Tanabe, “Tokyorkshire” based producer kidkanevil continues his fascination with Japan and readies his latest solo album My Little Ghost. Inspired by a summer spent in Tokyo collaborating, exploring and generally refusing to grow up, the double vinyl is due May 2nd on Project: Mooncircle and features a wide range of guests including PMC's own submerse and Tokyo vocalist Cuushe.

'My Little Ghost' comes out worldwide on limited gatefold, double, pink vinyl (including download code) as well as a limited edition CD including a bonus track via flau records (http://flau.jp/releases/40.html) in Japan.

Back in May, we Debuted a track called "Just"; you might just have heard of it. @feelmybicep are no strangers to breakout belters, but even by their standards this one has been picking up a heap of plaudits. So naturally we're more than willing to help facilitate their next step toward world domination, especially given as it arrives via their own cherished namesake imprint.

This, the title track from another forthcoming collaborative release with Hammer (an artist the Belfast boys are putting serious muscle behind) is equally tense and beguiling. It hooks you in from the word go, with a nagging piano lead, ooft-y mini breakdown and shiver-inducing sirensong calling through the mist. Close your eyes and you can imagine "Dahlia" laying waste to festival stages – oh wait, that actually did actually happen at Bicep's homecoming BR. Go figure.

You can physically feel FMB005 from September 7th.

Deep&Disco is back with a remix package by singer Adeline Michèle, the Parisian-born front lady of the band Escort,with remixes by Kraak & Smaak, DJ Vas, JKriv and Dino Soccio.

Co-written and produced by JKriv, the original is a modern take on 80's mid-tempo R&B, think Chaka Khan meets Holy Ghost! Blending a deep bass line with shimmering synth textures, the infectious hook really shines a light on Adeline's formidable vocals. Kraak & Smaak rework the tune into a chilled-out new boogie affair, while DJ Vas and JKriv take things into deeper and darker territory with their mixes. Dino Soccio rounds out the package with sultry and warm west coast flavor.

Adeline Michèle has been leading disco band Escort since the release of their first eponymous album in 2011. With a new Escort record slated for an end of October release, and other lead up singles gaining serious attention in Rolling Stone, Pitchfork, and the NY Times magazine, Adeline is set to make some serious waves in 2015 and beyond.

“Redo:Remixed” will be available exclusively on Beatport on October 12th, then iTunes, Spotify and everywhere else by early November.

Since his frst appearance on JEUDI with “True” our favourite Monte has developed his very own unique style. Coming from the nerdish synth world and being a big Carpenter fan his now darker approach to his sound was a consequent progression. We are great admirers of his art and proud to present his 3rd release , the “Radical” EP on JEUDI records.

As remixers we have engaged Man Power who came to fame in 2013 and kept his real identity under wraps which has led him to be mistaken for John Talabot or some other major artist. His recent album on correspondant was incredibly well received. 

Washerman, Gianni Siravo has been around since many years under diferent names releasing since 1998 on drumpoet community amongst others. We have been following their works for a while now and are very happy they said promptly “yes” when our request came.

Radical is a hymnic thick and deep monster with a master bass lead constantly evolving to the bursting point when every part of the body starts to shiver. “Radical” was a permanent feature of our summer sets and always one of the highlights concerning crowd reaction.

Simpler is dark, trippy and cinematic. It’s a technoish path Monte is following here. The raw sequence is fanked by rough brasses and spooky darkness. Monte presses every bottom in this epic piece.

Remixes:
Man Power combines disco-heavy acoustic percussion & slighter rhythmic to create a more positive tension of the “Radical” track, in which mallets take over the mainrole.

Washerman extracted the spheric side of “Simpler” in his interpretation. Atmosphere is defnitely the emphasis of this work of complexity.

Always eager to champion new talent, Dessous Recordings unearth a precious gem from Brussels-based Lockwood, a duo comprising childhood friends Gert-Jan Haegeman and Billy Hillaert.

'Let's Talk' sets out their stall: a shuffling, shimmying groove upon which an unruffled bassline and blue-tinged jazz chords blissfully coast. This is warm, dreamy, house so deliciously laidback and soulful that it never outstays its 9-minute running time.

The choppy, busy handclaps and ridiculously over-the-top squidgy bass of "Sway" explore different territory - frenetic synth-funk shimmering with layers of synth and zingy repetitions. 'Yearning' for its part melds a tough, rubbery tick to cycling keys and choric pads. It's the bass that's the star here, bending the tune around its abrasive low-end.

Meanwhile, Nils Penner underpins "Let's Talk" with a huge, booming bassline and brings its spoken-word sample to the fore: a treatment which somehow retains the magic of the original's vibe while lending it a dark, glittering technoid edge.

A decade on from his debut release, one of Romania's finest cultural exports returns to his favourite stomping ground with a trans- mission that showcases variety, technical skill and an intimate understanding of the dynamics of the floor.

The stripped-down, moody menace of 'The Swindle' kicks things off, dancing semi- quavers panning left and right, a mysterious male voice incanting. A bass synth motif carries the tune to a climax before its buoyant, trancey conclusion. At all times, elements unfold organically, carrying the listener away.

'Rotate' casts a busier, jacking vibe, its analogue synth cycles pinging against each other. Glimmering layers of sound create an endlessly immersive, deadly deep groove.

'Feed Me' is slower, slinkier and rougher in equal measure. The sustained synths create a gliding sensation, the male vocal first mellifluous and sung then husky and spoken.

'Chance' is a shuffling, fizzing deep house groove, precision-tooled for the dance- floor. "Let it take control" urges a male voice. Sound advice for this deliciously hypnotic groove.
