Wolf is the Sans replacement. Before Barney can make it through Card Castle, Wolf is waiting for him in the dungeon. All at once, he regains his competitive edge, and demands that Barney shows him that he can take on a serious opponent. Wolf might’ve been a pushover in the tournament, but now Barney has to play by Wolf’s rules.

Doors to each of the Lightners’ original universes open, meaning everyone can go back to their normal lives and bodies, and the Dark World can continue to exist so that its true heroes may return! Barney says his last goodbyes to the friends he’s made, unsure if he’ll even remember them when he goes back to that pub...

Pawn is the Chara replacement. Barney picked Pawn up at the start of his adventure, and brought it along to the very end. It is now able to properly speak its mind, humbly thanking Barney for showing it how to stay determined in a world where you can so easily be pushed around. It asks to be slid under the couch so it may return to its home, and Barney obliges before finally going home himself.
