24 year old multi-instrumentalist from Glasgow.

Pretty Gritty might be another duo emerging from a sea of female/male acts as of late, but there is nothing typical about these two. Sarah and Blaine have cultivated a sound that is both timeless and classic, yet they still succeed in bringing something fresh to the table, pushing rootsy-Americana sounds into an edgy, alternative space. These two have carved out a reputation as a must-see live act, allowing them to open for such acts as The Wood Brothers (SalmonFest 2016), Tim O'Brian, Tony Trischka, Chris Eldridge, Rod Picott, Lake Street Dive, Ben Sollee & the Kentucky Native and Joe Newberry.

Armstrong are Scotland's new alternative rock band. Imagine Shirley Manson fronting We Are Scientists with exciting pop melodies and described by some as Scotland's very own Paramore. Mixing choruses you can sing to with soaring rock anthems, Armstrong are already gaining a reputation as one of Scotland's most exciting live acts. 


Armstrong started 2016 headlining King Tuts Wah Wah Hut on 21st Jan for the penultimate night of their New Years Revolutions shows and are following up last year's success with many more shows including bring confirmed for this year's Brew at the Bog festival. Alongside this Netsounds have included Armstrong as one of the twenty bands you need to watch for in 2016. 


The band have been gigging since March 2015 and have played sold out shows across their home town of Glasgow alongside many successful out of town shows. Debut single "Thursday Night Club" recently was featured as one of the best tracks of 2015 on Scuzz TV's Scuzz underground show. 

Melbourne based, singer-songwriter Scott Candlish shares honest, personal stories of vulnerability through a blend of indie-folk and rock music. Drawing on influences from a wide range of artists, Candlish uses notable falsetto and an intricate fingerstyle. Open and honest about his mental health, Candlish delivers raw and emotive soundscapes that reflect deeply in the innermost corners of his soul.

The Deuce Show is a one hour radio show presented by Matt Barker and features bands and artists promoted by Deuce.
