Due to our usual space (St Brigets Church Hall) not being available we deciding to initiate a new experience for our community by providing the same quality ecstatic dance experience, but outdoors at the Darebin Parklands Amphitheater. A spot Madhu and I have dreamt in doing a dance there for years.

We enjoyed being under the stars together, on the grass, connected to the earth, and in our dancing joy!

This last trip to Kauai was completely transformational on so many levels and this set is pure creative reflection into the unfolding of the magic that I experienced. 

the set was performed at Ecstatic Dance Kauai's regular Sunday morning dance. There are several tracks that are profoundly sacred to me and have been the soundtrack of my life lately. I had been waiting for the perfect time to drop them on the dancefloor and it happened. 

The mix features some heart expansive ambient, Sufi, African, middle eastern, Siberian and Hawaiian prayers, shamanic cacao trance, exotic rhythms from Nigeria, Tanzania and S. Africa, ecstatic dnb, deep bass earth shaking drops, and some etheric unity message music at the end.  

People were left feeling inspired & blessed - some in tears and holding their hearts. 

Every time I play Kaua'i, I am already looking forward to the next time when I return. I love this beautiful community. Mahalo
