Wild Horse’s Jack Baldwin was thrilled to collaborate with acclaimed Norwegian artist Matilda Gressberg, and together they crafted the vibrant pop anthem, “Don’t Wait.”

"Don’t Wait" is a heartfelt song about recognizing when something in your life no longer works and finding the courage to let go. It’s a reminder that sometimes, the best thing you can do is embrace change and move forward.

This is the first track that we wrote together. The lyrics describe a personal struggle with mental health and the barriers that we put up to keep us safe during difficult times. It was recorded in Maryhill, Glasgow and the sound combines our favourite elements of late 90s and early 00s US indie/college rock while staying true to where we're from.

Devansh is a multi-instrumentalist, producer, and vocalist based in London by way of Brooklyn and Singapore. He writes modern groove music that blends together elements of psychedelic soul, funk, jazz, indie pop, and world music. 

After years of co-producing and playing trumpet for other bands, Devansh is releasing his debut solo music in 2022, including the first single "What We Don't See", co-produced by Jordan Rakei. It was played on BBC Radio and lauded by Stereofox as a "groovy blend of modern funk, soul, and indie-pop giving off Jungle vibes."
 
Working with the London scene’s top musicians, from Rudi Creswick (bass for Tom Misch) to Ellis Dupuy (drums for Puma Blue), Devansh is fusing his international upbringing and New York City jazz background into a singular, exciting sound.
