I'm pretty proud of how this one came out: a lil quirky with (what I hope is) is a pretty solid groove. I tried some different settings on my bass pedal this time around just to play with the sound.
The new settings meant I had to be more careful in recording, though, and I became very aware of a bunch of technique stuff I can clean up.

Additionally: recording this song was kinda stressful. I wanted the bass parts just right and that just ended up making recording more difficult. lol

Anyway, I hope you like it! I had a lot of fun making this and my elementary school song art too!

Moving at seemingly 'Turbo Speed,' a mysterious yet oddly familiar digital woman appears by his side. Her voice has an angelic tone, but she seems distressed. SkyBlew notices faint, almost invisible 'strings' attached to her, reflecting symbols that seem to shift and change..

Suddenly, DJ Reimei's voice echoes through the corridors of cyberspace, "Blew, be careful! I don't know how, but HE'S IN THERE WITH YOU!!!" The woman's eyes flash with lines of code, hinting at a deeper connection. SkyBlew senses an ominous presence, a shadow lurking in the digital ether.

I wrote this song in 2004 as an entry into the Tourism Australia Song Contest.  I didn't win, but I wanted to share the track with you all.  It was just me, my Roland keyboard and computer. There were specific things the track had to include.  Can you guess what they were? 🤗 xx

I wrote this song in 2014 about unconditional love.  At the time, I had decided to write new material and release another CD.  Then, my wallet thought better of it. ha ha ha  I performed this live with my band several times and it went over well with the audiences.  Just like my last upload, this is just me and my keyboard at the dining room table, so there was no brushing up the vocals/music.  Anyway, I wanted to share this track next - warts and all.  Maybe someday I will be able to get in a studio with a producer and make it POP!!  🤗 xx
