Quixotic has collaborated with Drrtywulvz on his original track Distant Pyramids, and also remixed it for their live performances. Today they are giving away the remix ahead of their upcoming new Quixotic EP being released in September, featuring more original music along with remixes of Distant Pyramids by Michal Menert, Nominus, Space Jesus, and David Starfire. The new as yet unnamed EP will be engineered by none other than Ron Lorman, known for his work with Frank Zappa and Miles Davis in the 70’s and 80’s. This remix blends vibrant strings with driving drums and psychedelic sound bites giving this track an other-worldly feel.

Over the past two decades, Devin Kroes has established himself as a distinctive voice in the electronic music scene, renowned for melding guitar-driven melodies with innovative electronic beats. His journey began at 14 in Sacramento, CA, where he embraced flamenco and jazz guitar styles, laying the groundwork for a career marked by creativity and depth.

By 20, Devin ventured into downtempo, drum and bass, dubstep, and bass music, expertly combining his guitar skills with electronic production. His tenure in Oakland's underground bass music scene, highlighted by unforgettable performances at Wormhole Wednesday, showcased his unique talent and vision.

In 2019, Devin moved to Portland, Oregon, continuing to evolve and push musical boundaries. With releases on The Rust, Danktronics, and Street Ritual, he has become synonymous with genre-defying music. Sharing stages with icons like Clozee, Mr. Bill, Duffrey, Resonant Language, and Koan Sound, Devin has proven his ability to connect and thrive among the best in the industry.

Devin’s music is a profound reflection of his life experiences—ranging from ecstatic joy and romance to heartbreak, grief, and the resilience found in facing homelessness and uncertainty. These themes imbue his work with an authentic emotional depth, resonating with listeners worldwide.
