Mournful yet resolute, the lovers’ final parting valediction also offers a glimpse of a possible future, and the hope of a new world, when they pledge to meet each other again, “where it all began, at The Worlds End".

The Chronicles of Manimal and Samara (TCOMAS) are a London-based duo comprising Andrea Papi and Daphne Ang. Lockdown

Not very well mixed and very bad vocals but we didn´t care at the time. First drum programming experiment, I tried to nail exactly what the drummer played drawing midi from practice session recordings. Guitars were recorded from a small Marshall amp but I don´t remember how bass was recorded, it´s probably a DI. Drums needed more work, and also the mixing could be improved. Maybe I will remix this sometime.

“The burden of life isn’t to live but to bear and carry it.”
I virtually paraphrased this lyric from @jordan.b.peterson - “The purpose of life is finding the largest burden that you can and bearing it.” This quote resonated with me, because ‘life is pain’ (@rickandmorty ) ... and while ‘I don’t know what it feels like’ for people who really suffer from mental health things, my heart goes out to them. I know people close to me that have struggled and will continue, too. I’ve always had that the thought that ‘attitude’ determines ‘altitude’, and this is true in every extent - but humans are weak, and when you’re dealt a s**t hand from the onset - the altitude doesn’t always seem worth climbing.

It’s worth it, though. The grass is greener when you water it.
