Deep Stories is a collective of DJ/producers, writers and photographers with a passion for storytelling in all possible ways. In their universe, sounds, words and images form a complementary unity, so that the audience can absorb all these different sensations at the same time. With this unprecedented vision in mind, DJ’s The Doubljuh and Kork founded the Deep Stories podcast series in 2016, which was enthusiastically received by a rapidly growing community. By amalgamating different lifestyle areas (literature, photography, music) many people quickly became enthused by this innovative project and within a year the Deep stories Soundcloud channel reached the mark of 10K followers before smashing the 20K milestone the following year. Driven by the enormous positive feedback, the team has expanded and founded its own music blog. This allows the audience to stay informed about new releases, events and upcoming gigs, in addition to weekly charts and tips for the weekend planning for electronic music lovers. The latest addition is the new booking feature, by which the artists of the Deep Stories crew can be booked for deep house and techno parties. Thus, the Deep Stories project consists of three components: the podcast series, the music blog and the booking area. Over the years the team has also grown and many partnerships have been sealed. Among other things, there is a close collaboration with other podcast channels, travel blogs and even street artists, fueling yet even more creative minds…

“Caught between two worlds …” is not the most convenient place for most musicians. That, however, is where Oscar OZZ has felt most comfortable for years. Whether Deep House, Tech House, Indie Dance or Minimal: the most important thing is that it grooves, is catchy and rocks the dance floor! His gigs at the hottest clubs in the country as well as his gigs abroad in Mexico, Bolivia, Spain, Belgium, Holland, Norway etc. have also been highly praised in retrospect, just like his regular festival appearances at e.g. SonneMondSterne, Sputnik Springbreak or Summerspirit.

Every year many tracks appear, mostly on vinyl, and sweeten up – not only in this country – music lovers’ lives. Oscar’s discography is very comprehensive and includes famous productions on many different labels such as Katermukke, Material Series, Confused, Perc Trax, Superfancy, BlackFoxMusic. Oscar OZZ is also known and notorious for his edits, which are distributed to a large fan base (> 5000 subscriber) free of charge on a monthly basis through his newsletter. Songs from many artists have thus had the pleasure to be enhanced for the DJ world.

Since 2003 Oscar OZZ is running different imprints like Karatemusik, KarateKlub, Lørdag, Kol Mojito, Extrasmart, Tape Select or OZZ Records. He’s also working together with different artists like Ron Flatter, Patrick Brosin, etc. to bring up their labels like Pour La Vie or .defaultbox  to the top.  Most of the tracks were released on vinyl and digital. The complete administrative stuff, like handling with pressing plants and digital distribution and accounting is managed successfully through Oscar OZZ. AMANIC liebt Synthesizer, was nicht nur in seinen Produktionen, sondern auch in DJ-Sets markant ist. Im Vordergrund steht treibender, elektronisch-technoider Sound, sowie dem Ehrgeiz vielseitige Elemente zu verarbeiten und zum passenden Club das passende Set zu finden. Oftmals führt das dazu, dass AMANIC im Club meist anders klingt, als es der ein oder andere erwarten möge.

Er legt außerdem Wert auf Abwechslung und experimentelle Elemente, ganz egal ob tiefe Flächen, verspielte Effekte, Kooperationen mit anderen Künstlern oder genreuntypische Remixes. Hauptsache anders. 

Wirft man einen Blick hinter die Fassade, so stellt man schnell fest, dass seine musikalische Welt auch in andere Bereiche reicht. Inzwischen ist AMANIC u.a. bei „Northern Lite“ als zusätzlicher Produzent tätig und ein wichtiger Teil der Kreativabteilung. 

Als Gründer von Ascending Branch, betreibt er außerdem, gemeinsam mit vertrauten DJs und Freunden ein kleines Label, welches versucht, musikalischen Ansprüchen, auf spezielle Art und Weise, gerecht zu werden.
