Here on Labor Of Love EP covert disco spy Labor Of Love delivers three cuts on the That's What We Doin' EP, and all of them look the American soul sounds of the glittering 1980s - "Favours" kicks things off as a slow jam with chiming keys, clavinet grooves and smooth n breezy vocals, next the title track is a faster golden boogie jam, the kind that Metro Area looked to for inspiration and lastly "Just For You" is the kind of raw bass strutter that would have set the coolest New York funk clubs alight back in the day.

okay i have just uploaded this because i was kindly asked for.
i have not done much on this, just worked it out a bit for my sets with a beat on top,  and it is for the set, not for anything else. no downloads, sale, or whatever

Randy Crawford - Street Life (Opolopo Rebounce MaxK just a little for the sets Addit)

This song has been a very big New York Dance Classic. It was given a fresh run in 92 as borrowed by Ashley Beedle's Black Science Orchestra alias ("Where were you") And again in 94, Kenny Dope sampled it in the B-Side of the original Bucketheads 12" single ("I wanna know"). Yes the one that had "The Bomb" on the other side. Obviously the huge success of "The Bomb" eclipsed it, and it was withdrawn from subsequent pressings. This song was also remixed on a scarce bootleg release a few years back which was rumoured to be the work of Joe Claussell. My version is a classic re-edit of the very original Tom Moulton full length mix from 1977
