History Listen is an immersive audio series designed to bring history to life for students, museums, art galleries and sound spaces. Through powerful storytelling, rich sound design, and music from the era, we transport listeners into pivotal historical moments—making history more engaging, emotional, and memorable.

Our first two episodes showcase the depth and impact of this project:

 Episode 1: The 9/11 Project – A gripping account of September 11 and its aftermath.

Episode 2: The Civil Rights Movement – Capturing the defining events and music of the era.

History Listen Episode 2: "Civil Rights Voices 1960-1970"

the "smoke and spin" started out as listening sessions amongst friends in San Francisco. A chance to share, and play records with your friends,who also happen to be dj's.....the "smoke" well..... that goes without saying...these "happenings" usually take place in the living rooms in flats throughout the city...they continue to this day....this is one of those sessions....

FROM 9/11 TO TRUMP...

 My 911 "History Listen"  features actual sounds from the time, including music, news reports, first responder transmissions, and political addresses, this piece takes audiences on an audio journey that begins with the attacks on 911 and continues forward to the election of Donald Trump. This piece was first commissioned by a teacher as an educational program for his class, it was then  exhibited at the Smithsonian, Hershhorn museum in Washington DC in 2019.

DF Tram is a visionary music producer, DJ, and visual artist renowned for his cinematic and psychedelic fusion of ambient, electronic, and chillout music. His work has been exhibited at the Smithsonian in Washington, D.C., and he has been honored with a nomination for an Ibiza DJ Award in the Eclectic category.
